The dark blue valance is totally see-thru with no backing at all. From the photo, the impression given is a light blocking cloth. No. It is sheer. Certainly not like what is pictured or what was expected. I’ll have to add backing myself.

Material was thinner than I expected. Once hung, they looked good though.

These valencs are well-made; the lattice-effect enhances and elevates the look of these curtains. The color in-person is exactly as pictured in the on-line photo- a lovely almost 'mocha' color- which is exactly what I was searching for. Would definitely buy these curtains again.
