Measured shirt

Purchased the 84 inch length. Hung one panel to be sure I like the color and noticed they were short. Measured with a tape and they came in at 81 inches, so 3 inches short. I considered returning and reordering the longer ones, but they would need hemming. Instead, I let the bottom seam out at the hem. That made them just close enough to the correct length. I love the fabric and color and the tab top is great. Hoping when I steam them the wrinkles will come out well.

Poor quality drapes

Blue Velvet Drapes arrived in a plastic bag that had been torn which may have been a result of the mail carrier. But inside the drapes plastic was opened and they were rubber banded inside. You would never get those creases out. I ordered navy blue. These were much lighter than the picture, not navy and very poor quality.

A little short

These are beautiful. They were about an inch to an inch and a half shorter than measured. They are also not complete blackout but worth it. I had to return due to length

Dirty

I ordered 4 sets and they all came dirty! Not a little spot but Dirty!! Whomever packaged these really dropped the ball. You can see the dirt through the plastic. I opened one and spots everywhere. As for color definitely creamy ivory. Will need to return! Won’t re-order 4 out 4 not doing it again.

Beautiful, velvet curtains!

I was slightly apprehensive purchasing these curtains because of the price. I was worried they wouldn't seem like good quality once I hung them up. However, the curtains look gorgeous! The color (I bought the navy ones) is almost exactly what is shown in the photo. Another purchaser said that they almost look a tiny bit purple, which I would agree with. They do an excellent job of blocking out light and I am extremely happy that I bought this particular product!

Defect in product and response

The blush is a beautiful adult shade of pink but also appropriate for a little girl’s room. I added blackout liners to the back to both dampen incoming light and to protect the velvet from getting sun damage. The lower rating is for two things; first, one panel clearly had a thread/yarn change 1/3 of the way down the curtain creating an obvious 1” wide darker color across the entire piece. It’s very noticeable. The second issue is the difficulty in exchanging the item. I went to Kohl’s and though staff were very nice, they could not exchange the item. The price has now increased significantly and they could not offer me any discount code or credit to re-purchase for the price I paid. They could not locate online orders contact information on my invoice or confirmation emails but were able to give me the manager’s corporate contact. Great item, poor resolution process.

Overall Good, A Few Flawd

Overall the curtains are good. The color (in navy) is a bit brighter than in the photos… but I expected that based on some of the other reviews. There are two other reasons why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5: 1. They smelled quite musty upon delivery… like they had been sitting in a wet basement for a year before being shipped out. Not a fan of that. 2. The size is a bit off. The package says they should be 84x50”, but they’re actually 83x53”. I measured a few of the panels, so I know it wasn’t just one of them. I don’t mind the extra width, but could have used that extra inch in the length. Overall for the price I like them.

disappointed in white

I bought these curtains a month ago and was encouraged by the positive reviews. The quality is nice and the curtains are indeed heavy enough to filter some light yet still allow light into the room. The disappointment was the white fabric. The velvet nap was cut the wrong way so the nap was going up the drape, completely negating the soft and smooth look and feel of the fabric. I hung the drapes anyway but they looked like polyester or even plain cotton. I really wanted to keep these but they just did not look like anything other than plain white curtains once hung so I had to return them. The return was appreciatively simple at a local Kohl's store.

Nice

I just got these today and I'm bummed they came DIRTY. There are dirt spots all over them. I don't know how because they came in a sealed plastic bag inside the shipping box. I may still keep them. I'll have to check the tag regarding washing instructions first. I purchased two white pairs for my traditional/farmhouse living room. The white is a bright white, which is what I wanted. I did hang one panel to see how they look and I do love the look. The velvet is very soft. I did leave the panel up for a few hours so I could see how it looks in daylight and night. I was looking for light filtering with major privacy. My deck doors are on my first floor patio which backs into a walking path 15 feet away. I needed to make sure people can't just stare into my home. There isn't even a hint of shadows with these nor could I see my Christmas tree lights when I was outside on my patio. They get a A+ for privacy in daylight and at night, and a A+ for letting in a great amount of light during the day. I just wish they were CLEAN.
