Love the weather protection
I had an outlet that would constantly go out due to straight lined winds with a little bit of water or heavy rains. After this was put in four days of rain and zero issues. So very happy for the upgrade.

Nice that it came as a set. It did not seal against the exterior wood like I would of liked. No big deal, I will just caulk around were the box meets the wood.

Replacing an old standard outdoor outlet with a modern GFCI outlet is one of those projects that's easy to put off doing, since you know you're going to run into problems and it will take far longer than you thought. Well, that's not the case with the TayMac electrical box cover.
Nice box cover, keeps the elements out while inuse
I had to replace an old outlet box on my balcony which had flip covers over each outlet connection. I like this one better in that in is an in-use box so you can have a cord plugged in and close the cover to keep the weather out of the connection. Good box cover!
