Beautiful and sturdy bench. I would not recommend it for outdoor use when exposed to the elements. I ruined it by putting it outside in the FL sun and rain.

Quality Bench at Half the Price

I eventually put it together by myself. Not that it was hard, just difficult holding up two ends at one time. It is beautiful, almost as nice as the more expensive benches, but half the price.

Very Nice!

This is a perfect bench for my outdoor seating area. I bought two to go under my pergola. It came exactly as pictured and the color matches beautifully with my outdoor decor.

Impossible assembly without a magnetic pickup tool

I purchased two of the benches in dark slate grey color. The assembly was almost impossible, when attaching the sides with the bolts and nuts. It is very very difficult to align the nuts with the bolts. However, I bought a magnetic pick up tool for about $*.** and it allowed me to position the nuts for alignment and worked beautifully. Once together, the benches are lovely and very sturdy. This magnetic pickup tool should be included with the hardware for this bench. I actually thought about returning them before I purchased this magnetic tool.

A Steadfast Garden Accent

I purchased this bench a couple of years ago to position in my "Garden Gone Wild" between two black locust trees. It has been sitting in place throughout the seasons. When the snow melts (up to six feet average), there it sits ready to embrace another summer season unfazed by the elements.

Most difficult assembly ever. The T- bolts attaching the side of the bench were impossible for me to align. I split the wood on the sides in the attempt. As I damaged the bench attempting to assemble it, and because at that point it wasn't going to go back into the box, I could not return it. I ended up using wood glue to sort of hold the bolts in place. It is assembled, but cannot bear any weight. Perhaps a handy person could re-tool the bolts and use drills to assemble. I am not that person, and if you are not either, I do not recommend it.

Outdoor but keep indoors?

So the bench has held up over the past month in Northeast NY and a few snow storms, however, the bench which is described clearly as an "outdoor bench" notes in the care instructions that it should be stored indoors when not in use. I could take my kitchen table outside on a nice day, but I wouldn't call it an "outdoor" table.

Practical and Attractive!

Attractive design, sturdy construction and durable finish. Ordered this for my covered, front exterior entrance. The black finish really pops with our pale grey exterior and burgundy front door! Very pleased with purchase and it was easy to assemble which my husband liked!

Terrible Support/Awful Quality Control/0 Stars

Order arrived in an undamaged box... upon opening the supporting wooden bracken was off and the back of the bench the wood was split... this did not happen do to shipping this was a substandard product that was shipped damaged... Overstock offered minimal support - they were not able to replace the parts - offered *** refund (repair it yourself) which is what I opted for this have not seen the credit... will not order from Overstock again

For the price they are fine, probably wish I would of spent more for a better quality. They look nice but don’t know how long they will last.

Good quality with a great design

I bought this bench to fill a space where a tree was. I love the size, color and design. It was fairly easy to put together with two people. I am hoping it holds up as it will be exposed to the outdoors.
