Half of the camlocks didn’t work.; there were 2 different types. So it was extremely difficult to make them pull the pieces together. The instructions were easy to follow except for the hydraulic lift. We looked online for the lift instructions, and hoped to see the advertised video but there was none. Also, there is no info about how to use the lift.

When ordering, the ad said to give my email address and consent to your ads and receive 10% off. I ordered and tried to enter the 10% discount code numerous times but it was rejected. I finally ordered paying full price. After ordering, I checked my email and had a message from you with a different code telling me to enter it and receive a 10% discount. This was AFTER I made the order at full price. I paid over $100 too much because you couldn’t get your stuff together one the codes.

Has Drawbacks

I ordered the Harriet cabinet, the quilt leaf, and custom insert. I have assembled a lot of RTA furniture. Considering the price, the drawers and drawer glides are incredibly flimsy and cheap. Machine insert is great, making the machine level with the table. However, that height is 30 inches, definitely not comfortable machine height for me, and I am tall. Also, there isn't much room for my long legs, and it isn't the most comfortable when I try to push my chair all the way in. I am really not happy about the ergonomics of this table. I prefer the 28 inch table height of the Gidget 2, which has the same machine insert opening dimension as this Harriet cabinet. I ordered a Gidget 2 and will use my custom insert for my Juki machine on that cabinet. It's unfortunate, as I would have enjoyed the table space to the left of the machine with the Harriet cabinet, but the 2 inches extra in height makes it uncomfortable for my neck and shoulders when sewing.

Love this sewing cabinet. When I received it I was a little intimidated because of how many pieces there were and figured I would have to have a lot of help putting it together since I am 75 y/o and physically challenged. But I went online and downloaded the newest instructions. I read over them twice then got small bowls and labeled each one with the parts then opened each bag and put in the bowls. I went step by step and got everything together. It took me a few days but I double checked each step. Installing the lift was not difficult. My son had to put the top on because it was in one piece and too heavy for me. It has 4 drawers for all my tools, thread and stuff. The door has hooks for scissors and whatever else that can be hung and the bottom tray is good for just about anything. I like that I can lower the machine and close it up. Very happy with this cabinet.

The Harriet cabinet is super nice. It's the perfect size for my Viking embroidery machine. It's easy to assemble and the tech I spoke with about the hydraulic lift installation was nice and walked us thru it without any problems. I'm looking forward to using this cabinet for many years. I will recommend "Sewing Parts Online " to friends and the quilting guild I belong to.

Went together well. I don't love the finish of the top. Came with a chip in it and I think it will scratch easily as its just a thin coating on top of particle board. Rather than buying the insert we cut the insert that was there to fit around my machine. It is nice to have a cabinet for my machine again.

This cabinet is beautiful and came together nicely. I was extremely happy to have an additional area to sew in downstairs that wasn’t my dining table. The fact it stores my large machine and folds up to save space were the biggest selling factors. Now that I received my insert and have used the table, here’s my honest take; the cabinet IS great, but if you’re working on large projects you’re going to need the additional leaf or something you can butt up to it to give you some support and extra room. It’s quite narrow and the weight of even a small quilt was trickier on the width of the table. I’ll have to either do this, purchase the leaf, or back to my giant dining table I go. The other downside is I can’t use my knee lifter. The cabinet design blocks the hole to insert this when it’s in flat surface mode. I did reach out to the company, and they contacted the manufacturer about this. Unfortunately it came down to removing a piece of the cabinet or foregoing that accessory. Overall, not that big of a deal, but it was a let down. That aside, customer support/service was great as always and I am happy with my purchase.

The hardest part about putting the Harriet sewing cabinet together was getting the boxes upstairs. From there the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I only needed help lifting the pre-assembled hinged top onto the base. The storage in the sewing cabinet is very nice. The cabinet rolls quite easily on my medium pile carpeted floor. Sturdy and easy to assemble.

Love the Table!

I ordered the Harriet table (amazing price!) and it was delivered very quickly. My husband and I put it together easily. We were missing one part. It was shipped as soon as I called. Best of all, the table is so well designed. I'm thrilled after 50 years of sewing to have a table that enhances my favorite hobby.

Great cabinet and lift.

The cabinet was just the right size. Putting it together was a bit of a challenge at first since a couple of directions weren't clear but my husband and I figured it out. I like the ability to store the sewing machine inside when not in use. The lift is great!

Now that it is assembled I am very pleased with it. The back sliding extension table was shipped in teak not white but I have received the white piece. The first hydraulic cylinder piece did not work but I did receive a replacement that does work. I haven t yet received the acrylic insert but I understand that it must be custom cut and so it will take a little longer to receive.

Perfect setup.

Flimsy, screw heads pushing through the top

Would not recommend. I've only had this a few months and behind the sewing machine the top is pushing up in two places where the screws went in. The fold outs seem to be hanging flimsily on when open. It was a purchase I looked forward to and now feel I wasted money.

I love this cabinet.....it is so spacious and delivered quickly. It did take 3 hours to put it together, but my husband did it on a Sunday morning while drinking his coffee and watching the morning news. He never lost his cool over building it which is unusual.

The installation instructions were not super clear about the back table leaf bar, but we figured it out. The magnetic closure on the front doors is not strong enough or the strip of wood that covers the door gap does not allow it to get close enough to stay closed. Besides that I love how much easier it makes my set up time when sewing.
