I used all four mounting screws in the middle of the wall plate and mounted directly in the center of one stud, seems to be holding my 37" LG very well for now.

Exactly what I needed

I received it quickly and it was exactly what I needed. I was able to put it up by myself. I have an older home with solid wood walls, so I didn't need search for studs. I've been able to change the tilt, when needed, fairly easily.

Good product

The piece that mounts on the wall is less that 16 inches wide, so more than likely you will not hit studs on both sides, so I took two 1 X 3's, painted to match the wall and mounted those horizontally with about an inch gap between the two. both ends were attached to studs with lag screws. Once those were up I mounted the wall piece to those 1 x 3's easily hold 100+ pounds
