Terrific product, at least if you use the Amazon echo devices. I cannot speak for other such networks. If you do, setup and use could not be easier. I am now the proud owner of eight of them, and they all do as I say.

 Hooked this up to my Dyson. So through Alexa, I can turn it off, but if I want to turn it on the plug will turn on, but the fan will not. I have to use the remote to do that. Not really what I expected.

Love using smart plugs for hands-free lights off/on. I also like that I can control them away from home by using an app. We have several of them throughout our home. Voice activated on/off your bedroom light at bedtime! Lots of options. Highly recommend. They make great gifts for your friends and family. The options are endless!

I bought two smart plugs and now I have to figure out what I can use them for. I put one in the living room and one in the kitchen. They seem to work OK with my app turning them on and off if this if this continues to work fine I will be happy, I just wish that their instructions were a little more clear on how to operate their products
