Cheap to the point of uselessness

Once again American Standard has resorted to cost-cutting whlich results in a useless product. I had previously purchased two faucet sets which came with a cheap plastic hand-tighten washer to secure the valve body to the countertop. No rubber friction washer was included either, despite the product illustration. As a resultl the valve body would turn whenever the control lever hit the end of its travel. I ordered this valve body mounting kit to get the proper rubber washer/metal thrust washer/brass hex nut combination. The 4 kits arrived without the metal thrust washers shown in the product illustration, which made the kit useless. I finally used Delta parts to complete the job satisfactorily. I will not be purchasing American Standard products in the future.
