Got wrong parts

We got parts they where not right fo the tank we had even tho we checked with you. To make sure they would . I went with genuine American standard parts so they would fit . Wasted 20 bucks could of bought genetic kit an got wrong psrts not happy

This repair kit was exactly what I needed for my 1992 Model 4078 American Standard toilet. I tried an universal kit that did not work.

American Standard Coupling Kit saves the day

This kit was just fantastic. Every bolt, nut, grommet and of course how could I forget the foam-rubber gaskets! Each component inspired Marie-Kondo-levels of joy. As I snugged down the fasteners and the tank settled onto the gaskets with a satisfying scrapey clink of porcelain-on-porcelain, I reclined back onto the urine-scented linoleum with a deep sense of fulfillment and completion of duty, secure in the knowledge that the Coupling Kit made it all possible. Thank you so much!

WRONG BOLTS INCLUDED CAUSED LEAKAGE

The bolts that were included with both of the Bowl to Tank Coupling Kits are larger around than the original bolts and when used correctly, now there is leakage around the bottom where it is bolted. Upon replacing one of the bolts with the original, the leakage stopped. I was unable to EVEN get the nut to go on to the bolt that was sent on the one side because it was had an irregular thread and the nut stopped at that point. NOW, if I haven't thrown away all of my old bolts, I will be able to go through the motions of taking out the new bolts, that aren't easy to remove given that they are wet, and putting in the old bolts! I am 68 year old woman with Rheumatoid arthritis and Fibromyalgia, plus Osteo-arthritis in my hands. I can't afford to get a plumber to come do this job that SHOULD HAVE BEEN EASY!! if the correct bolts had been included!

It worked for my 1914 toilet

I live in a 300 year old stone house. One of my toilets is an American Standard model 4043 dated July 1914. Parts are getting hard to find. Two rubber gaskets are provided the one I needed was the smaller of the two. Thanks for being there for me.

American Standard Tank to bowl seal kit

Hard to find American Standard Tank to Bowl seal kit for a 25 year old toilet. Worked great for mounting a replacement tank to the bowl. Really pleased that Grigg's had the seal kit I needed. The price was good and shipped quickly, so I bought the kit for my other 2 toilets.

AME Bowl Seal Kit
