Lightweight, made in Portugal (NOT UK)

I have more experience with their older bowls which are sturdy stoneware and are great. For many many years, they were made in the UK but now it seems that most of their products are produced in Portugal and China (not at all what I was looking for). It is such a shame when companies just look for the cheapest fabrication to make as much money as possible. Also, the 'cane' colour is different from older models. This one looks like a dirty khaki rather than beige/yellow. I will be returning it.

Great and beautiful bowl.

Love the finish which is satin smoothe, for mixing and proofing sourdough goodies. Also, the weight is lighter than the earthenware looks and more manageable than most large heavier type bowls.

Arrived in one piece

Looks just like the one from Great British Baking Show/Bake off. Packaged and shipped well, arrived in one piece! (Which is more than I can say for when I tried to buy the same bowl from Amazon)

Great mixing bowl

I absolutely love this bowl! Its size is perfect for various tasks, from folding sourdough to mixing pie dough. Plus, it looks fantastic in the kitchen.

Beautiful bowl. It has such charm in the detail and the color is great! I love to use this when I am throwing or attending a party. Always gets compliments.

This bowl is fit for purpose. It is solid and chip proof. The design has been unaltered for many years because it is the perfect width and depth and will be an heirloom for our family. Although it is quite heavy, I would recommend it for anybody needing a durable and beautiful bowl for their kitchen.

Perfect

Its a perfect mixing bowl for those big family cook ups. It looks fabulous its practical and surprisingly light weight but also tough. Love it❤️

Nice Bowl - Little too light weight and thin

I bought this for my wife for her Birthday, she has been wanting one to make sourdough bread. It was a last minute purchase and the delivery was super quick and came way before they estimated which was great. However, after only a few uses, the "Chip Resistance" failed to live up to the standard. After washing in the sing and putting in the drying basin, it slid a little and nocked the side of the sink and a large chunk immediately chipped off the side. Little Disappointed.

Fabulous, must have kitchen item

Absolutely fabulous, such a great bowl nice and large but heavy so good for mixing or kneading without feeling like you are going to spill over or break the bowl!

Lovely, just like Mum always used back home in England. An indispensable item in every British kitchen. I can remember running a finger around the inside to get the last of the Victoria Sandwich cake batter!

These bowls are beautiful to look at but the first time it was used for mixing a cake batter with a hand wisk, the bowl cracked. Durability is definitely an issue. Bought 2 others for my wife but she is afraid to use them. Very disappointed. Thinking this bowl must have had an issue before I purchased it.

Nice Set But…

The set came damaged with manufacturing defects. Sorry I had to return. Quality of this set was not the same as other MC bowls. Customer service was great!

The original & still the best

This was a gift for my Mam, whose grandmother had the same bowl. She loves it & its already been put to good use. It's functional, beautiful to look at & brings such delight to my Mam.

I have always wanted one they are an heirloom and it will be passed down. I have recently started making bread and this bowl is the perfect size and weight! I just love the size, colour, and finish plus the fact that it is chip resistant is a great feature. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend to family and friends

Great mixing bowls.

I saw these bowls on Downtown Abby. They are absolutely high quality and beautiful. The smooth interior is great for my mixing bread and potatoes salad.

Thank goodness this classic Mason Cash bowl is still made

Mason Cash bowls are simply the best and no cook should be without them. Hand mixing in them is a joy. The new line is pretty but, for me, nothing beats the traditional beige and cream. I am lucky enough to have two, one this size and one extra large. I have been using these (English-made) treasures for fifty years and they still look and feel like new. So, a message to Mason Cash: please don't abandon tradition.

Great quality

This is a beautiful mixing bowl. I have been looking for one for years to replace a similar well worn one. I was not disappointed. Excellent quality, sturdy without being too heavy, and it has a comforting look about it. A great addition to any kitchen.

Mason Crash

These are beautiful bowls that I have used before. I bought this bowl as a present for my husband who loves to cook. It arrived in tiny pieces, packed with a few bits of paper in the bowl in a large cardboard box with no fragile sticker.

[Rewarded Review] Poor

Very poor quality, bought two, they marked and then one cracked on first use. Really disappointed. Mason Cash was a good brand name in my mind but it has obviously lowered its standards of quality. Sent back but Asda didn't process refund correctly so all in all a bit hopeless!
