Beautiful rolling pin arrived broken two times

It's a beautiful rolling pin. Gorgeous wood. But both times I ordered it the pin arrived broken. I'm not going to order a third time.

Yes, it is a nice rolling pin, IF you can actually find one in good condition. I would have to chime in along with Sue’s review. I too went to multiple stores, and all pins had flaws ranging from minor to major. This was after trying to purchase it online, TWICE. The first one was delivered with major splits in it. So, I returned and chose to exchange for the same item. The second rolling pin was worse than the first. It had a completely popped up section, like the pieces of wood were never clamped together properly from the get go. The only option on my second return was refund only. That was fine. I highly doubt the third would have showed up in good condition. So, now I had wasted a lot of my time and money, and still had no rolling pin. I was very frustrated. I decided to look at local store inventories, and to chance finding a good one in person. Only 2 stores were showing inventory, and both were a good 20 minutes away. The first store I stopped at had 6 in stock. 4 were in absolute trash condition, one I would describe as acceptable at best, and one was good, not perfect. I opted to buy the good looking one, but still drove to the other store to check the pins out there. They had 2 in stock. One was in terrible condition, and the other looked perfect…until I removed it from the box. Sadly, it had a large split stemming from one of the ends, and working its way into the main rolling cylinder. So, I went home with the one I bought at the previous store. I REPAIRED IT! What a joke. Nobody should have to mend a brand new rolling pin. I carefully and meticulously filled in all minor cracks and seam gaps, smoothing before it completely dried. It took a few days worth of touching it up until I was happy with it. After all of that was said and done, it was finally time to prepare it for use. I definitely found it insulting that the included care instructions describe how to treat your rolling pin to prevent splits and cracks from occurring. Ohh, the irony 🙄. I treated it with coconut oil. I let it soak in overnight, and wiped off any remaining oil with a paper towel.

Cracked Rolling Pin !

My Rolling Pin was cracked in two different places and it was packed half way out of the original package from the store! I was so disappointed. It was going to be a gift for my Brother.

Beautiful but they all had cracks

I wish I would have kept the photos to show all the ones I purchased and in the store had cracks. Maybe I'll try again later with another batch. It is a beautiful heavy pin.

The quality of the item, the looks

Poorly made

There were six of these rolling pins at my store and four at the one across town. All of them had splits in the wood if the roller. Absolutely beautiful otherwise but because I intended to actually use my rolling pin I did not purchase this product. Very disappointing.
