Install it in one of 3 bathrooms, that is now the only shower that is used all the time. The only bad thing is temperature gage is in Fahrenheit and not in Celsius.

Automatic control of shower temperature is wonderful. No more fiddling with a super-touchy single lever control. Just set the temp you want once and you're done. Also you can choose how fast a flow you want and that won't affect the temperature. The one drawback is, the minimum temperature is around 80 degrees F (about 29 C I believe). So if you want a bucket of cold water, you're not going to get it from this valve.

So far, so good, I've only used it a couple of days so far, but will update the review if something goes bad. I received the TX8-310A instead of the TX9-310A, but I talked to Pfister and they claim the only difference is the depth dimension of the valve body. I do wish it had an integrated shower diverter valve, but the functionality it does have is great for the price. One note, they do provide an optional plug for the tub outlet, but it is a solder type

These Pfister Thermostatic valves (this one and the 3/4 single outlet/shower valve) are absolutely killer. They are solidly built and being thermostatic only effect the house's pressure, not the temperature when someone turns on the water in another room. I've had this valve for a month or two in one bathroom and the 3/4" thermostatic in our downstairs shower for over a year. They are well worth the price.

excellent valve. It took the plumber some time to install it but it works very well. It even has a temperature control knob for the Hot water. It goes from 80 degrees to maximum 120 degrees. The valve is set to work from 100 to 120 degrees but can be changed. The valve is solid and works well with a good water flow.
