Noisy

Nice looking good but fan is noisy and shakes entire good on low! Fan seems to out of balance, also did not come with filters. For the price a set of filter should be included

While searching for the 100's of hood ranges Best Buy has to offer, I stumbled upon this Thor Hood range. I was surprised to see that it had no flashy advertisement, it was not overwhelming expensive, but neither was it too cheap. I looked at all the specifications and was surprised to see that it had all the features I was looking for, plus the suction power I needed. 600cfu. That is very respectable. I hate it when the house smells like food and the Hood range doesn't do it's job. Thor Hood range definitely is sleek, has the basic features and does the job. A big plus is that I don't have to buy filters all the time. The filters included can be washed, and the Hood range even tells you when it needs them washed!

We bought this range hood to match our Thor stove. It works great & even comes with a remote. The finish & style are just what we wanted.

[Rewarded Review] Terrible Terrible Terrible

terrible terrible product. bought this thinking it is a high end product 2 months later started having problem with it. Tried calling best buy but because i didn't buy the warranty i couldn't take it back. Oil sensor comes on everyday. Making noise and rattling. Had Thor send technician, 1st they said it was the motor. They ordered it . Two weeks later it gets delivered. week later technician comes back and now he says it is not the motor it is the installation. ( Same Technician ). Regret the day i bought this thing. Now it is just sitting in my kitchen just for looks, can't even use it 2 months later and best won't take it back.

The hood only worked for a few days after installation.

Dimensions are incorrect

Online it says the chimney is 11.25" wide. Take it out of the box and it measures 8 7/8". The wider chimney was the whole reason I bought it, and now it doesn't fit properly.

Great product, good price, Stylish, just terrible instructions and very little... But easy to use, quiet enough for the power you get, no more smoke detector issues when frying!

Great Hood but install issues

REALLYSUCKS! IN a great way. But, they supply you with weak screws and anchors that are not enough to hold this to a drywall wall! Be prepared to put some better wall support behind it, we cut out sheetrock and attached plywood to studs, then it finally stopped wiggling. When this is on full force you do NOT want it to wiggle! It really does it's job, happy with the purchase, just not happy with the provided mounting screws and LACK of directions.

Slick Range Hood!!

Just got this hood for my kitchen remodel. The Finish is beautiful!! Powerful fan motor, yet quiet. Easy to assemble and mount. Shipping was super quick too.

Gorgeous addition to our kitchen

The hood fits perfectly into the theme of our 100 year old farm house. The option to add the stainless steel moulding was the perfect touch. We only have 7' ceilings so had to purchase the short ceiling kit in addition to the hood. We went with the recirculating option and while it does a good job we mY end up doing a direct vent as we can still set off the smoke detector! It's not a quiet fan by any means but it is great quality for a very reasonable price.
