Best Range I have EVER owned!!!

I have been awaiting the delivery of this range for 6 months...I had to return 2 due to damages...I cannot tell you how impressed I am with this! The set-up was easy. The operation is smooth without hesitation. The cook top is sleek and beautiful. The oven is quick to ignite and heat up. LOVE the infrared broiler! This is aptly named: THOR, it is a GOD to me!!!

Great burners, even oven cooking, looks great

I bought this stove a month ago and am very happy with it. All burners work great. The unit looks absolutely beautiful in our kitchen. We made the switch from an older very high end range that was burning through igniters to this and the transition has been absolutely seem less. My only complaint is the convection fan is weak, it still works however if you’re hoping to get great air circulation while baking this model might not be it.

Not worth the money

Oven broke within 3 month, a ticket was put in but no further info was provided. I still have not heard from anyone even after contacting Thor

[Rewarded Review] THOR! The Beast Range

This is not your generic range and I had no idea what the possibilities were until my house flooded and I had to gut the downstairs, including the kitchen. This stove, referred to by its name in my home, Thor, is a beast. He's fancy and I feel lucky to have such a beautiful piece in my kitchen. He provides so much space to cook. The burners are powerful. The oven is so easy to use. I finally feel like I am cooking on a decent range.

Quit working x3 in 16 months

I hate this oven. It’s stopped working 3 times in 16 months. I’ve used lots of other cheaper ovens in my life that I’ve never had a single problem with. Buying this oven is a waste of $3,000. Thor will not respond to my request for service. Please save yourself time/money and go with another brand/model. A 36in wide stove does not give you $1000 worth of benefits. The 6 burners don’t give you one that will simmer. You have to keep shutting it off when you want to cook something for a long time.

Interior glass imploded while oven not in use

I've had this range for 3 months. Today I baked a dish for dinner, and as we were eating (20-25 mins later), the glass on the oven door imploded. Most of the glass pieces flew inside the oven. Obviously this scared us as we didn't know what it was, the oven and stove were completely turned off and we weren't anywhere near it. I've called Home Depot and reached out to Thor in hopes that I can get it replaced before Christmas dinner, crossing my fingers. Scary and dangerous flaw.

Do Not Buy Thor Products If You Live In Rural KS!

We bought all new appliances for a new build in 2021, including a Thor 36" gas range at Lowe's. We had to purchase the propane conversion parts when our contractor installed the range, which was understood up front. The burners have always burned WAY too hot, with no way to adjust them down, which was our first issue. Recently, the ignition module went out for the cook top. I called Lowe's and they said to call Thor. I called Thor and they gave me the name of an appliance center 60 miles from us. I called them and they basically laughed and said that they had no idea why Thor would have referred me to them. I called Thor back and they told me that the one name they had given me was the only place on their "list" for repairs in our area and that I would have to find someone myself. I have since called more than 10 appliance repair companies in our area, none of which will touch our range because they can't get parts. Meanwhile, we are stuck with a $2500 range/cooktop that doesn't work properly, never has and, apparently, never will. Very disappointed.

Constantly broken

I loved this oven when I got it. It cooked evenly & loved having all of the burners. Then it started to break. Needing to replace the ignter twice, the oven gas line has to be replaced, and now the motherboard is burnt out. Multiple technicians came and I have spent well over $1500 for all of the repairs and now I call the company and they don't sell a motherboard. So I am out all of the money I just spent to repair the oven and now I have to buy a new oven. Worst customer service and company!

continuously breaks-waste of money

I bought this just over 5 years ago. At first I loved this oven. The burners were great & oven cooked evenly. It started falling apart and I’ve had to get several repair techs in to fix the problems. Now 1 month over warranty the motherboard broke and after spending well over $1000 dollars to fix everything now they say I can’t purchase a motherboard and have to purchase a new oven. I called the company directly and have not been helped at all. I will never buy from this company again.

[Rewarded Review] Non-customer service

The range actually seemed pretty good. Nice big oven. Did not like the fact that there was no burner that could be set at low to hold small pots or items for a long time. My problem was with the lack of customer service. I am pretty sure that the oven light turned on when I tried it initially. The next time I attempted to turn it on was 6 days later on Thanksgiving. It did not come on. I had to file a report online with thor. They asked me to send a picture of the problem, although I thought that it was pretty self-explanatory that the oven light did not come on. But they said they needed pictures so that they could assure that the service technician had the appropriate parts. After I sent a picture of the oven light, I was told that I needed to go out and purchase a new light and install it myself because oven lights are not covered under their warranty. They are wear and tear items. How much wear and tear does an oven light get in 6 days? I objected to this, but I was assured that this was the policy and there was no way around it. Then I thought about the fact that I had submitted a question about the oven through their website a day after I had purchased it and had received no response. I figured this was not a company that was looking out for their customers. Glad I had total tech. Sent the door back for a different oven.

[Rewarded Review] Hype v Reality (Unhappy)

Thought this was a great value in this price range and chose Thor over a close competitor at Costco. So far, not a fan.

Thor fridge > Kitchenaid

This refrigerator was a breath of nice quite cold air - literally. We purchased a KitchenAid krsc503ess side by side about 6 months prior to purchasing the Thor. The KitchenAid was: The. Worst. Refrigerator. Ever. It required service multiple times, sounded like a jet engine, was predominantly room temperature, and cost us several hundred dollars in spoiled food. A styrofoam ice chest would have offered far superior performance.
