Worth the wait to find a awesome dresser!

Gorgeous dark wood grain. Very solid and heavy dresser. Dovetail joints and metal slides on drawers. Loved the curves! Nothing like this in the stores. So glad I waited and found this. You won't be disappointed.

I love the dresser, and it makes a nice addition to my master bedroom! However, the dresser is much darker than portrayed in the picture shown. The knobs and handles are also much darker that it appears online. I am glad it came assembled, and the shipping time and scheduled delivery couldn't have worked out better. I am very pleased with the quality of the piece, and overall I am happy with my purchase.

Gorgeous spacious chest with tons a drawer space!

Beautiful captain's chest that I bought without the mirror. Tons of drawers so was able to organize my bedroom after being frustrated with an armoire. The wood is a gorgeous dark red, maybe cherry. It drawers aren't dovetailed like another chest I have bit I probably paid more than twice for that one. I have no problem with the drawers. Feels substantial and the drawers open smooth. I appreciate how everything I get from Overstock is packed so well. Not a scratch or any issues with how it came shipped. They make everything easy. Never a return! What a relief.

Thrilled with my new dresser. It is heavy so it was worth the fifty-five dollars to have it delivered. They informed me of the delivery date and called thirty minutes before delivery. This is so well made. The drawers move easily and the color works great with my other furniture. They are solid and stop nicely when you pull them out. The top of this dresser has a pretty design around the edge that makes it look expensive. I shopped all the furniture sites looking for a large dresser to get me organized. This was the biggest and the prettiest one I found. It is also a really great price for such a large well-made piece of furniture. I felt safe ordering from a company like Home Depot who are local and stand behind the quality they sell. I am very happy with Home Depot and my purchase.

During preparations for my recent move to Atlanta, GA, I sold many of my pieces of furniture which included my bedroom set. Once I bought a home, I was finally able to shop for a new set. I visited most of the furniture stores in the local area. No one had what I wanted. In fact, one sales associate told me I was looking for something they don't make any more. I retired from selling furniture, so turning to the internet felt strange to me. I wouldn't have the opportunity to open and close the drawers. And the big concern, delivery damage. There are several sites to chose from, but I found Overstock to be the best. I wanted dark wood and they have a wide selection of dark wood sets and the prices were within my budget. I debated between several sets and decided on Picket House Tomlyn. I only needed the dresser and not the mirror. Overstock gives you the option of purchasing both pieces or just the mirror, or just the dresser with pricing set accordingly. So I purchased the dresser only. You also get a choice of shipping options. I chose the shipping plan that offered set up in the room of your choice as well as taking away all the boxes and foam packing pieces. So worth it! The delivery men were polite and did a great job. This piece of furniture is very heavy. I would not have been able to set it up without help. The dresser actually looks better than my expectations. The hardware is perfect with the design of the dresser. The stain color was very close to the picture on the site. All my concerns about an internet furniture purchase were baseless. The piece is absolutely beautiful. It was packed very well, no damage at all. The quality is very good, the drawers slide in and out perfectly on stainless steel ball bearings. So all in all it was a good experience that I would feel comfortable doing again.
