Look and feel high quality

Overall, I'm quite pleased with these chairs. The fabric seems nice and they went together very well. The legs are my favorite part - the wood is pretty. I wish the seat was a little more padded, but I can manage. I noticed someone else commented that the chairs creak a lot, but I haven't noticed this at all. Then again, I'm on the smaller end of the size spectrum, so maybe that's why. Something to consider I guess.

Beautiful chairs - but they are so loud and creaky. If you lean or turn, the chair creaks constantly. Not sure if there is a fix for this or if anyone has actually sat in their chairs, but no one else has mentioned this in their review. Can't stand how cricketty these chairs are.

Color is gorgeous

Arrived in good condition and easy to out together. Fabric color is a nice dusty blue-gray. Look is sleek but comfortable and the wood / metal combination is nice. Wood is a little more lightweight than anticipated but does not look cheap.

Awesome, comfortable chairs.

I looked for a long while to find simple, yet well-designed chairs for my new island. We've had them for three weeks. They are fabulous. One thing to note: I'm thankful I have mostly adults in the family, as the fabric (even though it's dark) would be a nightmare if I had young kids who were prone to spills while eating.

Surprisingly well made

Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these stools, made in China. Packaging was pretty good... arrived in two boxes, seats in one box, legs and footrest ring in the other. The wood finish is very good, the holes all lined up well in assembly, and it's far sturdier than I had hoped. The fabric on the seat is good and appears that it will hold up well... time will tell, of course. The seat cushion appeared to be lacking when initially unboxed, but when assembled and actually sat upon, was comfortable. The low seat back was just enough for me, and provides a cleaner look when pushed up against the counter. The Overstock price was by far the best I found anywhere on the web... and I feverishly searched. Would recommend.
