Close mechanism doesn't work
These tongs would be great if the close mechanism worked. I've watched a video from the company about pushing the red plastic on a counter to engage and dis-engage the close/open mechanism, but it doesn't work on the tongs I received in 12/2020.

Great product so far
Love the design but the grey button doesn't work. The tongs don't open or close completely. I have to jiggle the button to encourage the tongs to open or close completely which defeats the purpose of this being a one-handed gadget.
Cannot hold position
It does not open and close easy. Top tings stay closed when you use it would never buy it again
