We wanted to stain the door, but the quality of the wood was horrible (multiple lines in the wood). Probably okay if you want to paint it

Absolutely gorgeous. Better than expected

Going to install these doors using barn door slides. Using them in two second floor beds as entrance doors to the rooms. As the rooms are under a 30' shed dormer the ceilings are a bit low leading to door issues. Needed 78 1/2 inch doors in order to install properly. These 80 inch doors can be trimmed that much without problems so we will be giving that a shot.All aspects of shipping and delivery ran fine and ahead of schedule. Thanks Wayfair.The doors appear very nice and I will be applying an old fashioned shellac finish to them to match the old 1950's planking installed when the house was built. Standing them up against the opening they so far look great. Shellac I am hoping won't be a challenging finish to apply to these doors. I think they'll look as good as they can upon completion. I'll try to update these words upon completion. Less
