This bookshelf is a hunk of crap. Looks nice on the website, but is a very cheap piece of furniture. Not to mention the instructions, which are more suggestion than direction. Not clear whatsoever. If I could give minus stars, I would. Do not buy this.

Great looking shelves at a good price

We bought two of the wider bookcases and this narrower one for a small market, and they look and function well. The only issue we had with this one was that it arrived without its shelves, but we contacted customer service with photos of our bare cases and they were able to have the manufacturer send us the shelves. Be aware they are solid wood veneer over HDF and very heavy, so it helps to have two people to assemble and lift them upright. Very happy with them so far!

Very well designed. Well worth the price. Short span of shelves a big plus. If the back system could be improved it would border on perfect. Definitely would recommend.

They went together well and look good.

Not all parts had labels to accommodate assembly. Middle connection shelf had to be screwed additionally to secure it (not in manual). Manufacturer has to perfect assembly & instructions.

Easy to follow directions, easy to assemble. Heavy, sturdy bookshelves, look great across one entire wall with short bookshelves in between 2 tall ones!

The instructions were very detailed. The workmanship was excellent. I am still a happy customer

The only problem was that the directions were unclear about where the top and bottom aprons go. I put them on in reverse and now have to empty bookcase to rectify. So be careful about this. Bigger one goes on bottom and smaller one on top.

I bought a total of 6 bookcases (2 each of the 72 x 84, 3 each of the 48 x 84 and 1 each of the 72 x 36)) in the cherry finish.

I have hundreds of books and bought this as we are moving into a new house to build my library room. I am very pleased and look forward to many years of enjoying this bookshelf. Much better made than some of the others I have used in the past.

Boxes arrived on a pallet, which was broken in half. The long box was broken open and had been taped up to keep it intact. Opened it in presence of delivery driver, found no actual damage to the bookshelves, so ok, but that pallet was obviously defective and should not have been used.

Arrived with shipping damage just like everyone else's

The shelf arrived on a pallet and is very heavy. Once inside and unboxed the assembly instructions were pretty straight forward. When assembled the shelf is very sturdy and met ( even exceeded ) my expectations. Most of the shelves are adjustable so it can set up to accommodate books, pictures , plants etc…I plan on ordering another shelf in the near future.

Excellent looking and sturdy shelving unit. Definitely worth the price. I put together myself in about 90 minutes, but it would definitely be easier with 2 people. Highly recommend!

Worst packaging I have ever encountered. There is no way it wouldn’t be damaged in shipping! The weight they put in such a flimsy box with no padding! Shame on you Home Depot. Do better! For the price of this. I mean seriously. Stay away! It could have been so nice. (And it took over a month to get delivered.) NOT worth it!

The bookcase is gorgeous! It came in about 3-4 days before expected. It didn't take long to put it together with the help of one other person. I like that the shelves are adjustable; it makes for cool arrangements. It came in two boxes, so you'll need help carrying it.

Not bad but pretty scuffed up! The directions are very vague!

Parts were marked improperly. A few unusable shelf pins. I had to get them locally. Support is nonexistent. Email to Manufacturer invalid phone number no longer in service.
