Gourmet tri-ply 5 qt stainless steel round Dutch Oven. Once received, is well made. Want to note: liquid 5 qt is to the brim, given that need to leave space to stir/boil. Liquid to handle rivet’s inside is 4 qt’s. Have All Clad as well, comparable quality much less costly. Have Cuisinart bottom clad only, is good also. This Tramontina Gourmet is perfect between the two.

This is a beautiful, and extremely well-made pot. I look forward to having it for a long time to come.

I love this pot. It's nicer than I expected.

I am not sure about this pan yet. It is a nice and heavy pan but I have only used it once and bottom of inside didn't clean up very well. I plan to get some stainless steel cleaner to see if that will help. But, I really don't think I should have to do that to get it clean.

Great pot

I love this pot. It heats evenly. The small footprint allows me to use it on any of the burners on my induction stove.

Tramontina description of dutch oven is wrong

I am shopping for this product I believe it's a good product but I can't believe the lousy quality of the Tramontina website description. This is a 5 quart product, but the site says that it is a 1.24 L at the same time that it said, it's a 5 quart. A Liter is a little bit more than 1 quart . Maybe they meant to say 1.24 gallons? They also describe it as being 24 inches in diameter, which would make it unusable on a homes stove as the biggest burners are 11 inches.

Excellent Dutch oven!

I love this pot! Since going on a low carb diet I've been learning to braise cheap cuts of meat I can get on sale, and this is perfect for low carb pot roast. I didn't want to deal with the weight of the enameled cast iron Dutch oven and am thrilled with the weight and quality of this. It's a beautiful pot, and once I learned how to cook with and clean stainless steel properly it's a joy to use! Even the lid is a solid weight that sits tightly so no steam escapes. I now love the sizzling sound of a piece of meat searing, on its way to a tender, flavorful, delicious, fall apart pile of meat. Highly recommend!

Beautiful and Versatile Dut Oven

I love Tramontina products, and this beautiful, tri-ply Dutch oven is no exception. We have a glass cooktop, so we can't use our Tramontina enameled cast iron Dutch oven on it. (I use that on my outside gas grill.) This pot really does the job: I can start a dish on the cookt, then move it to the oven. So versatile.

I,m 82 and needed to replace my 15lb cast iron pot. After a month it has totally fit the bill. It handles my Sunday Italian dinner with ease. From frying sausage, braciole, and meat balls to adding 3 cans of tomatoes and simmering for 3 hours, it hits the mark. the only problem I have is after cooking is to not being able to leave the sauce in the pan while enjoying the sumptuous meal your pan allowed me cook because of acidity. Being Italian, I worked around it. Could not be happier. Also have your cast iron Braiser.
