It is a pretty lamp with nice color. However, the first pole that fits in the base is not secure as if the threads are stripped, so it does not hold the weight of the upper part of the lamp straight. Very disappointed. Definitely would not recommend.

SO PERFECT FOR MY NEEDS

Perfect lighting for any project I might tackle - sits perfectly beside a low stuffed chair w/ottoman where I can knit for hours on end - OR read a favorite book - OR tackle the many Crossword Puzzle Books that I keep handy for the unexpected quiet half-hour in the middle of the afternoon. Lamp is quality-made, solid (no chance of tipping over!) and the floor on/off step-on feature is a definite plus. Design lends itself to modern, classic, vintage decorating - just can't go wrong with it!

YES, I would buy this lamp again and again!

OH MY GOSH!!! What a perfect lamp for my knitting needs......or reading needs...........or crossword puzzle needs! Certainly the right height for all of the above positioned beside my favorite chair. The step-on switch makes the on/off easy........assembly was a no-brainer!

Pretty and Functional

Pretty and not too much trouble to put together. My only issue is the placement of the on/off switch. It is on the floor, next to the base and I bought the lamp to put behind a sofa. I solved the issue by plugging into a power strip and using that as the on/off switch.

I would buy products from hayneedle again.

The bell of this lamp does not seem as large at it looks in the picture. The lamp is great quality and serves its purpose. Just with that the measurements were a bit more clear on the size of the bell shade.

The Wife loved it. Nice heavy base, good finish, adjusts well. The foot switch is a bit odd, but works fine. Keep in mind that the cord will have a foot control, a couple feet from the lamp. For beside her sewing table, it is perfect.
