Liked this lamp so much we bought a second one.

Purchased one for a reading lamp beside a couch. It fit so well that several months later we purchased a second to replace a table lamp at the other end of the same couch. The lamps provide plenty of reading light, and the slim profile of the lamps does not obscure the windows behind the couch. Well made, heavy base, slim profile.
