Bad construction poor quality and material

The bed frame was made poorly and the thin strip of wood intended to support the slats and mattress arrived broken, I returned it and I’m still waiting for my credit

I'm considering another purchase but different size

It came in a long box. Was very easy to assemble. The staff was great to work with.

Prepare to Reinforce Center Support!

This is super easy to assemble BUT must have its center support reinforced. The bed was super unstable and the existing center supports slipped on hardwood floor and broke off right away. Fix: Cut two 4x4 supports and notch one end to receive the 1x2 support. Then, secure each side of the 4x4 to the center support using brackets. Also secure each side of the 4x4 to a crosss-slat with brackets. Then, add 3M sticky dot furniture pads to the bottom of each 4x4. The bed was too high for me so I cut 2" off each leg, reducing height from 6" to 4". This was done before making the center support posts. This bed isn't going anywhere now!

ABSOLUTE JUNK

First, I want to say that I ordered this October 22nd and I didnt receive it for almost two weeks. Bed finally gets assembled November 5th. Today is December 5th, and I woke up in the middle of the night to my bed falling apart. 3/4 of the legs just snapped off. I am 190 pounds. This should NOT have happened. I wasnt even doing anything, I probably just rolled over. Then woke up in the floor. I am not happy at all.

Great bed at a great price.

This bed is super sturdy. I love the material and the fact that my dogs won't be able to make messes with toys underneath. I am very happy with this purchase. It was very easy to assemble and arrived undamaged.

This beautiful bed frame has a very nice warm beige fabric covering but the legs cannot supprt the bed. Where you screw the feet into each metal mount, there is only 1/4" of thread to screw the legs into. Not enough support so the bed wobbles and will collapse if anyone gets on the bed. Beautiful bed but the legs are terrible support. We returned our queen bed.

Poorly made, cannot assemble

The screw holes were drilled just a teeny bit closer together than the holes on the hardware, so screw would have to be mounted at an angle to assemble, making it impossible to sink fully. Additionally, I could not even turn the screw into a side rail without the hardware because the threading was so sticky. Could not even assemble basic pieces, and I'm pretty decent at furniture assumbly. Big dud.

There's more pine in a car air freshener

Looks nice, easy assembly, plenty of clearance for my robo-vac...that' s the end of good part of this review. The frame is not wood -- it's plastic or fiberglass with pressed wood pulp; a 71" wood rail would not weigh 7 lbs. And not even the slats are solid, they're pressed pine (photos). The bed is very light which makes it easy to move, but I question the durability. I should have spent more for a quality bedframe instead of being cheap. This is destined to replace the old steel frame in the guest room, and not as a permanent frame for daily use.

Happy with purchase

I am very happy with my Abby upholstered platform bed. It was quite simple to put together. And has a very clean simple look. For the price I am able to accept anything that might be seen as cost cutting. For instance the legs are plastic not wood, which I don't even find noticeable. The slats that hold the mattress are unfinished and unsanded plywood. You see this as you assemble it but then it is all covered with a durable fabric that protects your mattress from the rough slats. For this kind of build it yourself furniture, I think it feels sturdy and is accurately represented in the pictures. I gave it 4 stars because I did have a problem with the hardware that was provided with the Abby bed , not working to attach an independent headboard to the platform bed.

Great looking bed

This an attractive and sturdy bed frame. I like the fact that there are lots of slats and a crossbar to make it really secure. Plus the hardware to attach a headboard is included and works well. I took off one star is because the description clearly states that the legs are wood but they are really plastic! They should correct this and not mislead people.

A waste of money

It's broken...after 6-months.

Queen Platform Bed

I ordered this after my bed frame was damaged in a move. Arrived on time in good condition and was very easy for one person to put together. No box spring needed - top of the bed is 14" off the floor.

The issue I had was one of the holes did not match up and was difficult to put screw in. And the cover for the slats coverage was to big and Velcro doesn't match up. This is always the fear of these types of purchases.
