Great desk, good value.

This desk is in the Guest Bedroom, which is mostly occupied by grandkids during sleepovers. It is the perfect size and doubles as night stand betweeen twin beds. I'm very pleased with it.

Exceptional cost and very pleased with final product. I'm not a handyman so it took me a lot longer to assemble than the estimated time. However, the instructions were very clear and easy to follow.

Great style, not so great material

I was on the hunt for a light oak wood desk with black fixtures. I love the style and look of the desk, fits in well in its space. I was however disappointed when it arrived due to it being "engineered wood" and not solid wood. Parts of the pvc or laminate coating are very thin and slick which does not look like real wood (shiny). You also have to built the entire thing, so be patient. I am going to keep it because I built it and can't imagine disassembling it to return it. 70% happy I would say.

The desk is sturdy and does the trick. We needed it to create a small corner workspace in the guest bedroom. My only complaint is the drawers are not quite as sturdy as the rest of the desk, so be careful when putting them together.

Don't buy this desk! Was looking for an inexpensive desk but as we were assembling this it literally began falling apart in our hands. The MDX is super cheap and we even had several specialty screws break. We had to finish assembling with a ton of super glue. Probably the worst made item I have ever bought.

This has to have been the poorest designed pieces of furniture I've ever purchased or assembled. First, it's not wood at all. It's laminate and the sorriest excuse for it I've ever seen. It literally looks like wallpaper stretched over cardboard. And don't screw anything in too tight, they strip, (meaning the holes and screws) in seconds. The assembly holes are not drilled properly in this mass-produced piece of junk, so good luck getting the drawers to stay attached or getting the base on whatsoever. I've never been able to say, "Oh no, my desk is torn," until now. Thank you for that.
