I really loved these chairs. They were easy to put together, were very comfortable and looked great. I bought two sets and got three together and the last chair I pulled out had a leg broken right off. I went online to reorder a set and they were sold out :( I had to return them all because I needed four chairs.

Cracked leg

The chairs are nice. I got 4. 1 of the legs was cracked. Too much to return so my husband will repair it. I shouldn't have to do this tho

Nice chairs

Chairs are comfortable and for price needed chairs now. They look nice with our glass table. Assembly seemed easy enough. Only negative 2 chairs had a scratch. Nothing a marker can't fix. Just a little disappointing.

Quality is lacking

These were poorly made chairs. They started falling apart after about 3 months... Interestingly just after the return policy ended. We had others in our house that matched so we tried to keep them, but the back detached from the legs or the legs were broken so they were unsafe to sit on. My 12 year old leaned back a little and fell backwards because the back wasn't sturdy and hit his head on the hardwood floor. He had a headache the rest of the day. These LOOK NICE, but not good for daily use. Put a little extra money and buy chairs that are solid wood, or have a spindle (cross rail) at the bottom (between legs) or come with legs and back as one full piece. Unfortunately I won't be able to return and have to drop a whole nother $600-$700 to buy a new matching set. Thanks Walmart!

PERFECT....AND COMFY TOO!

I've been searching for quite some time for chairs to replace some others that were very old. These are perfect, they look great in our dining room! Very comfy too!

Great quality! Well made. Very comfortable. Feels sturdy. Easy to put together. Odd smell at first but dissipated quickly, especially after a good wipe down. Would buy again!

Beautiful

We purchased these to go with a Neo-Classic carved table. The contrast is wonderful, making the room really come together. The chairs are strong, no problems. Definitely worth the money without a doubt.

Poorly built chairs

For those who may not be mechanically inclined, beware of this product - this vendor! We ordered 6 chairs, 3 boxes of these chairs. We were so disappointed in this product. Yes, it looks nice, but many building miscues. We only opened one box. Underneath on both chairs the corner supports were miscued. One of the main back support holes for the bolt was not located properly, so the vendor drilled a replacement hole that did not align with the the receiver for the bolt. On the other chair, the underneath material had been cut open - probably to do a repair or replacement to the springs. Instead of replacing the material so that it looked nice, they sprayed glue onto the cloth and then put a patch over the cut cloth - and not a nice cleanly cut cloth of material, but a half-torn patch. For the price of these chairs, the quality is terrible!!! Do not purchase from this manufacturer - probably all of the Harding product is poorly built.

Comfy parson chairs

Shipping was very fast--received all 8 chairs in 2 day!! They went together very fast, two men--two hours--six chairs. Hubs put the remaining 2 together in less than an hour the next day. As another review stated there is an odor that remains nearly a month later. It's a similar odor to an old dresser drawer/storage locker that's been stored for years. I've used leather cleaner on them, but a slight odor remains. I can smell it as I walk past the chairs.
