OMG the noise!

This bed was easy to assemble and it looks beautiful, BUT the squeaking at every tiny movement is insane!! Rolling over or even adjusting a pillow wakes everyone in the house up. And I question the stability of the 1/8" mattress platform and 1" x 2" cross members without a box spring base. With the box, it is way too tall for 5'6" tall person. I need to have a step to get in bed. Do I recommend, ABSOLUTELY NOT. Do I suggest an engineering edit, YES!

Don't buy

It feels like pretty cheap quality and is noisy when moving around. I regret getting this bed frame. Hopefully, this helps others avoid getting it.

Piece of garbage

We bought this bed several weeks ago and it was missing bolts and other important pieces. Had to cancel installation because of this and slept on the mattress on the floor for weeks before the pieces came from Malaysia after a back and forth with the company. The pieces are cheap and don’t seem stable. We haven’t slept on it yet but wish us luck. Terrible experience so far though; please listen to the other reviews. By some miracle if this bed is a dream to sleep on I’ll post an update.

Wouldn’t buy again but good concept

We have had his bed f8 years it’s seen 2 mattresses been through 2 moves . It’s been through it . I love our bed but unfortunately it’s gettin old which is cause for Squeaking , but also TMI it’s seen 8 years of love making regularly if you catch my phrase haha . So I would recommend again but if you are a regular love maker or a bigger set person I would avoid this bed. The storage is amazing . The amount of space saving and how high I love it !

Storage bed

I tough it was the complete bed, how can I get the complete bed, it never said it was only part of it

I love the look of the bed, but the planks that support the mattress appear and sound extremely flimsy. I'm nervous every time I get in the bed because it creeks like an 80 year old floor. Will probably be reinforcing it with plywood. Although I did not need to contact the manufacturer's customer service on this item, I did buy the coordinating dresser in this suite. It arrived damaged, but they refused to even try to sound concerned and told me that Home Depot was their customer, so Home Depot would have to request the return. Home Depot was actually very helpful in helping to remedy the situation, but it was disappointing that Picket House didn't want to stand behind their product and honor their warranty.

What a dangerous cheaply made piece of furniture ! First by product description i was under the impression i was buying real wood furniture not cardboard and pressed wood. Second the framework on this bed was literally cardboard and skimpy fabricated composite wood slats. See pictures . The first night i went to go to bed on this thing it imploded on me and i ended up in the hospital with a mild concussion and several areas of trauma. Dont buy this furniture. Be warned ! There ought to be e laws against products like these

Poor Quality

The bed arrives in many pieces, boxes. Nothing labeled, took approximately 4 hours to assemble. The left hand drawer panel is damaged. The manufacturer only allows HD to buy/replace the drawer which has a 90 day lead time. Whole bed requires returning. Extremely dissatisfied with HD, Elements and their customer service

With this bed it is only the railings, nothing else. The description includes all the pieces but it’s on the railing in the box

Great Value . . .

I wanted a high bed so that I could look out my window at the view of the lakeview upon waking up. I also wanted an elegant looking bed with lots of storage. This bed looks like it would cost thousands. My solo assembly was a breeze because not only did I study the instructions, I also watched an online video of it being assembled. It did make some minor squeaking noises before I bought additional screws for the slats. All in all, it is a very good value for a very good looking, functional bed.

Horrible product!

The quality of the furniture was horrible! It is made from very cheap materials. Photos and description make it sound like it is of solid wood construction, however, it is mostly made from glued wood particles. Every piece I received had some kind of damage. I would suggest to anyone considering this bedroom set to look somewhere else! This bedroom set looks good in the photos and the description makes it sound like quality furniture, but buyer beware!

wrong color

I ordered a gray bed and it showed up brown, all the boxes that came with it were marked gray. Packaged well and took about three hours to put together.

I can't review the product because Home Depot did not send me the correct item. Then it took many phone calls for Home Depot to even acknowledge that they sent the wrong items and initiate the credit.

The outer appearance of the bed is very pretty and nice, but the inner support and drawer function is junk. Very disappointed in drawer slide, they sit on one piece of wood with a cheap plastic bracket that is used as the rail system to pull out and push in. In today's world and the price you pay, they should be on the metal soft close system.

Mixed thoughts

I like the storage solution ideas... but I'll let you know what is horrible about it. The drawers on the headboard are so ridiculous. It'll bump your shoulder if you try open it during sleep or you have to kneel on your bed and get up to take out whatever you need. Or lean over your bed during the day. Dumb design. And I do think the shelving behind your back is irritating. When you want to sit up with pillows, the open shelves will also be impractical. And on an aesthetic level, I don't care for the way they chose one singular screw installation handles. Those kinds of knobs are forever loosening and then you have to re-tighten them. Plus, if you want to ever change to the longer handle type that make more sense for drawers, you have a hole that forces you to keep the knob style, which is dumb and not modern. And there is literally nowhere for ropes to be tied. Lame. You'd have to get those stupid sheets that have the rings but those aren't even fun because there is literally no threat from being handcuffed to cotton. So overall, I ask myself if I want to entertain often. If you are going to hit your partner in the head with a drawer, that's going to mess up the mood.
