This ended up being a nice piece for the playroom. Smaller than we envisioned and the baskets are a bit rough, but it seems durable. Holds a lot of toys. Came full assembled, so that was a plus.

Well made storage bench

This piece is cute, well made, and great for extra storage. It looks great tucked into my window cut out in my master bath with a pillow and the Joanna Gaines Target mirror on the other end. It holds my straightener, blow dryer, water pic, among other things. They are all out of sight yet easily assessable. Be aware that the gray is not really gray, it's more of a taupe, so I sent it back, the color was wrong for me... I then got the white one. Love it.

Packaging was amazing but had to glue a piece

packaging was great with outer box lined with 1.5" foam and the storage box inside a second box. Had to repair right of the box though. The front panel supporting the drawers was not secure and dowling did not appear to be glued in. some wood glue and 12" Clamp fixed it up. was not worth returning over small fix. Looks nice though and happy with it after fix.

Baskets look sad

I needed something short to hold my television in my family room and this seemed perfect. It is except for the baskets. They arrived looking rough...two of the three are different colors (which I might be able to live with) and one has odd black spots on it. Is it mold? Did bugs bore into the straw? I'd love to get them replaced, then this piece would be perfect.

Almost perfect

I'm loving the look of this piece and the color is perfect. (I ordered grey) The biggest complaint and probably the only complaint is the drawers. They open but certainly not easily. There are no runners, just a groove on either side of the drawer where it supposed to slide. It takes a bit of elbow grease to pull them out. Other than that it's perfect.

I ordered this bench for my foyer. It was completely put together when I recieved it. It was perfect for where I wanted to put it. Its very sturdy. And my 2 year old grandson plays on it all the time. And it can withstand his roughness you know it can withstand anything !! The baskets are so cute and the other 3 drawers also pull out. It would be perfect for any room in your home and at a great price!

Sturdy Bench & Comes Fully Assembled

Even though it came fully assembled & the outside box was not damaged there is a ding in the top right corner of the bench. I contacted Overstock about returning it for another undamaged one, but I have not heard back yet. With that being said it is still a very nice piece & is the right size for the space I wanted. Both my Mom & my Mother-in-law commented on it as soon as they came into the master. Other than the ding on the corner of the top, another con is I wish the baskets were a little wider, so I could get file folder to fit correctly.

Not enough storage

Nice looking entryway bench. Well made and in good shape upon arrival. Well packaged. Quick ship by Home Depot. As others have mentioned, the baskets are not ones that will keep together if used frequently. Ordered white and it was an off-white, but not cream. It is definitely whiter than the image online. I found that there is not as much storage in this bench as I had hoped. I had a smaller entryway/shoe bench and it held 6 pairs of shoes, this only fits one pair in each basket (3 pairs) and only smaller pairs of shoes. If you are looking for shoe storage, this is not the best option.

Beautiful and solid. The baskets are big enough to hold a few pairs of shoes nicely and we use the drawers for sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, etc. Of the two units we ordered, one was in great condition but the other we immediately noticed had a bump in the wood which appeared to be from a screw underneath. We took a picture and emailed Overstock. We received a very quick response that a new unit would be shipped out to replace it. Within a few days, we received the other, in excellent condition. Very pleased and would highly recommend.

This didn't need to be assembled! The baskets aren't the best quality - a little rough. The paint is a think coat of dull matte gray. It looks more like a stain. I will probably either paint it a different color or add a coat of sealer. Overall, though, I'm pleased - it fits perfectly in a nook to make a perfect window seat. I purchased (separately) a cushion that complements it.

Love, love, love this piece! I bought the side table as well. Colors match perfectly. High quality wood. Drawers are high quality which is impressive. Baskets are sturdy. I have added this to my sunroom. It is under my television and has my Tivo/DVD on top. I would definitely recommend this and would buy again!

Came damaged, broken even more

At first glance I was pretty pleased with this piece. Came fast, came in one piece, color was great. When looking at it more closely the next day, I noticed the corner was damaged. It looked like it had been "bent". You could see the particle board. But for the hassle to ship it back, and the good price, I figured I could look past it. A few days later I was sitting on the bench and I heard a loud crack (i'm about 165lb), couldn't see any damage, but it must have been something. The next day my 21 month old was sitting on top and kicking her legs. She hit the cross bar, under the drawers and above the basket, and it broke it two!

Loved the product, but broken and not by FedEx

The piece is beautiful. Just what I wanted. However, afterbtaking it out of the packaging (which was the best packaging Ive ever seen!) the piece was clearly broken, then glued back on... REALLY?! That was just the most aggravating thing to see. It wasnt even done nicely to try to hide it! So now I am returning for a replacement and hoping it is in good condition. A little diappointed bc I donated my other furniture already for when this arrived, but the return process so far, is easy and they promise to get the new piece to me asap. However, I requested it be overnight and they declined, so I asked to make sure it was here before 4/1 bc I am going out of town and they said they will try their best, though I think when something lime this occurs, next day or 2 day delivery should be warrented.... well, I just hope overstocks best is better than the repair job on the furniture!....

Great purchase, very happy.

This is a great piece of furniture and I'm very happy with it. The construction is solid and very sturdy, doesn't feel like on of those cheap, assemble-at-home, mdf pieces that one would find at certain, Swedish, outlet furniture warehouses. The item adds a good amount of style and charm but is not over powering. The fact that no assembly was required was just perfect, just cut the flaps on the box, flip it over, and slide the box up. The wooden drawers feel pretty solid when opening and closing them, and feels like quality work all around. Wicker baskets are fairly large and have plenty of storage space. The color is not a solid 'black', instead has a slight redish ting to some of the edges which gives it a nice, distressed looks, overall very classy look.
