The table is solid and easy to assemble. The pattern on the top thought is not symetrical, but it is centered.

The color (cherry) was as pictured. Table is well made. I am disappointed that the "star" pattern on the top, formed by the wood grain was not even / well matched. I didn't send the table back because I reasoned that I where I was using it, it would have stuff covering it. Expensive table, not to be better matched though. See photo.

This is a lovely, sturdy table. I didn't give it 5 stars because some of the edgings were not consistently painted around the tabletop.
