Nice Heavy Duty Bar Stool

In February, I purchased four Espresso Brockway Swivel 29” bar stools by Darby Home Co. To my dismay, after assembly in October, I discovered that two of the chairs had the wood around the rim of the seat completely breaking apart after only two months. This level of quality is utterly unacceptable. Upon contacting Wayfair’s customer service, I received the disappointing news from Kristen, a manager, that they cannot replace the bar stools. The poor customer service and lack of direct communication have left me with two unusable chairs, and I am thoroughly dissatisfied and deeply disappointed. I have no option but to take this further.

I love this stool although I wish they did come in counter height as well, but I still bought them because they appealed to me so much and their aesthetic and sturdy construction do not disappoint. But I’ve only been using the, and only occasionally for a few weeks, and the seats are peeling. I had bought three of them, so while the middle one is still ok, the ones at either extremities that get used the most are damaged. I’m so disappointed.

Sturdy and beautiful!

I ordered 4 of these, and they are so beautiful. Looks really good in my new home. I have not moved into my home yet, so I will update you on the quality in a few months.

The chairs themselves are very nice and comfortable. We ordered 4 chairs: one came damaged and none of the boxes had the correct number of screws necessary for putting a whole chair together.

These bar stool are of good quality. Only four stars be because some of the screw where missing.

Great stool for the price

Very substantial and sturdy chair for the price. This chair/stool was purchased as a Father's Day present, but it was a little too tall for the application (center island in a kitchen). Dad liked the chair/stool so much that he kept it and simply cut the legs down a little. I think that says a lot about its quality.
