This is the second low profile bed I’ve purchased from wayfair. They are sturdy and close to the floor, making it easy for the kids to get in and out of. I love the look and they’re perfect for smaller rooms. They are queen beds without the bulk of heavy furniture. Sturdy and easy to assemble!

Pretty, but not the highest quality

The side boards come in 2 pieces. There are short legs under the joint of these boards, and I had to place some wood under them, so the joints wouldn't separate. If I wasn't planning in disassembling it at some point, I would use wood glue on the little dowels used throughout. Much of the construction involves using an Allen wrench, and it was tough on the hand. It is pretty, although not the highest quality.

I purchased this bed for my three-year-old approximately one year ago. What attracted me to this was how low the bed was and it is indeed pretty low which is great for my three year old. Assembly was not notably difficult. However, the material quality is subpar. The frame for the headboard is remarkably thin, which compromises its appearance. And that's why I took one star off.

Good quality but don't love bottom board design

The bed seems to be good quality for its price point (especially considering we bought it on sale during the Cyber Monday deals). It went together without a problem and it seems sturdy enough. However, with use I have found I don't love the design of the bottom board. I have discovered that when I go to tuck in my little one I often stub my toes along the bottom board (whereas at my other child's bedside my toes step right under the bed without notice). Perhaps I'll get used to that with time. The other nuisance of the bottom board is the gap is just big enough for a book or very small toy to slide underneath but not big enough to allow easy access to retrieve those items by hand, let alone arm! So, I think this purchase is a great bet for the person in the bed but the design may provide some inconveniences for anyone responsible for bedside attending.

This has been one of the few pieces of furniture I’ve bought from Bed Bath and Beyond that has been disappointing. The color of the product is good but the quality of the wood and the finish is poor. The bed looks very cheap and the nightstand while packed well is not matched in its grain and shade with the bed. The nightstand required very little assembly and the bed was fairly straightforward but the look has left me disappointed. Won’t recommend this product
