I put this in my wood shed. Within 30 feet of my shed it comes on which is nice. My only complaint is I wish it was brighter.

Had these for years now. They put out pretty good...

Had these for years now. They put out pretty good light. The only bad part is with age the plastic cover for the sensor becomes brittle and cracks/brakes, but like I said I've had these for years.

Cheap Wiring

I liked this light. At first, it worked well at night, the light was bright, and the motion sensor did its job. I am dissatisfied with the wiring that exits the solar collector, however. After 6 months of use, I noticed bare copper wire protruding from its insulation which promptly broke off when I picked the unit up. Very cheaply made; do not recommend. I am returning the light to The Home Depot for a new one or a refund. Thank you.

very dim light - doesn't last all night

Granted, my yard has a lot of trees, but the light has been just shy of worthless.

Light is fairly bright , my only complaint is you can’t get it to stay on for more than a few seconds. If it detects motion it’ll stay on kinda . Have timer set to max. Wish it would stay on for 20seconds or so . I understand it’s battery powered but a few seconds is excessive .

Easy to mount on top of my house and it lights up my front yard and driveway plus part of my neighbors .she likes it also and come on bright and everytime theres movement it picks it right up and comes on.before it was a dark spot when getting out of my car at night.and price was great.should have got 2 of them .

Could use more umph

Decent price and solid construction. But the total brightness was vastly disappointing. This is definitely a porch light, not a flood light for your yard.

Wish the light timer worked !!

Light itself is very bright and was exactly what i was looking for however the timer doesn't work. No matter where I have the dial in Auto mode the light will come on and immediately off. Have tried everything. Only way I can really use is if I switch to on mode and then to off. I will still recommend the light as it is very bright and lights up a dark space in my yard to water plants.
