It's a really good piece.

Works really well. Holds up the umbrella and it's innocuous so you don't really notice it. I would have preferred a round base as they're easier to maneuver, but this is great quality for the price.

Sturdy Support

This cast iron umbrella base has the substantial mass to keep my 11 ft umbrellas upright during most wind events. I like that the vertical sleeve is screwed, not bolted, into the base and has two side, anchor screws to hold the umbrella's pole securely in the sleeve.

This Umbrella base is the perfect solution for my 15' umbrella. It does not require any time to assemble it, it is sturdy and the materials are high quality. You can use it with umbrellas that have poles that range from 1.5 to 2 inches wide.

This is the heaviest base for an umbrella I have found. I live alone, southern California coast with high winds. Nothing has tipped over my umbrella since I bought this. Excellent product.

Worth the money

This stand is so worth the money! It is heavy and low profile. I love it you can put it under the furniture or right next to it. It is fantastic.

Extremely sturdy and not too difficult to move! Bought it for our double-size umbrella (13-15 ft) bc of the strength and larger opening for the pole.

Stable, love the flatness of this base

Seems very stable. I love that is is very flat to allow for feet or furniture: Arrived promptly. Sadly the opening is not big enough for the umbrella we have, so we will be returning. Thankfully, overstock has excellent customer service.

Wonderful Support for a Windy Deck!

I live in windy Colorado and have a big back deck which requires an umbrella. I purchased this particular, large sized and heavy umbrella stand which is just perfect for my situation.
