[Rewarded Review] Love these rockers!

These are sturdy, comfortable and very pretty. Easy to put together. My Mom just loves them. Great rocker!

LOVE THE CHAIRS!!! But it was horrible trying to put it together. You had to have hands the size of a small child because it was so hard to get the screws bolts Allen wrench nothing would lineup because hands were too big. It took two people to do this, which is ridiculous. 

These are great! I bought them in white and I really love them! They are sturdy, clean well, and I have had them on my porch for over 3 years now and not a single sign or rust or wear. And they get rained on a lot! Very pleased. They could use a cushion on the bottom if you plan to sit in them for an extended time, but they are great chairs! You will want two people to put them together though.

Always easy to purchase from Wayfair. White enamel color is very rich looking. Rockers are comfortable. Easy to assemble (with a friend). Leave a little more room to locate them as their legs are a little bigger and need extra space.

I really love these chairs!! They will last a very long time and match the color scheme of my Victorian back-yard facing chill-axing” area perfectly. I took one star off bc it’s impossible to put them together if you are only one person. You need a second person to hold the bolts from turning while the other person tightens them with the provided Allen wrench. Otherwise they just spin and you don’t get anywhere.

We have a bit of an obsession with the Griffith series. We have chairs, tables, and love seats so we can easily entertain twelve then linger afterwards. We saw these last year, and decided to give them a try. We started with two of these rockers, and now have six for our fire pit. The construction is sturdy and our family of 300lb+ people with bigger rear ends fit comfortably. Usually the kids are using the rockers as they sit and make s'mores. Assembly is easier if you use your own tools rather than the included ones. That being said, assembly is easy, and the directions are pretty straight forward and well labeled. We will be applying a coat of car wax soon to help them maintain their pristine condition. We also will bring them in for the winter since we are in a wet climate without a dry location to keep them out year round. We would definitely recommend, and hope they add "grasshopper" to the color selection.

Good value and comfortable.

Looking for some rockers for outside front deck. These will work well and very comfortable. Assembly is required but instructions are clear and screws and bolts are well marked, nice addition is extra screws and bolts are included. Will need two people to assemble the rockers. Only color available was lime but it's a nice shade.

Love the color and style

The chairs were nicely packed but one chair missing a cap on the rocker. There were also numerous scratches on the paint, some down to bare metal and spots of rust where the paint was knocked off. I love the color and they are comfortable but will probably add cushions. I don't want to send back but wish there was a way to buy a matching cap. I will put a clear coat to prevent more rust.

Great buy for the money

Love the size, they would go well on a small balcony or deck. Once we decided to use our own power tools (the set does have tools but that is very slow going), they were easier to put together. Be advised it does take 2 people to put together. Rockers usually have a long rocker piece positioned in the back, however these have slightly longer piece toward front which makes it rock less. (Manufacturing boo boo?). But 2 chairs for the price IS a good buy and delivery was ahead of schedule. Color is a matte finish not shiny.

Cute but HARD to assemble!

I really like the chairs, however, they are NOT easy to assemble! First you almost have to have 2 people. Second, the directions are NOT terribly clear. The lengths of the different bolts vary by literally millimeters so finding the right bolt is not easy. Unless you are incredibly handy with an Allen wrench you really need a ratchet and a better wrench to assemble these. Finally, the paint is all scratched now because of parts dropping during assembly. I wonder if matching paint is available? I did give them 3 stars though because once assembled the chairs are super cute, look like the online photos, and seem very sturdy.

The chairs are perfect for my sunroom. The chairs appear to be turquoise on your website. They’re actually more teal. That’s not a problem for me. However, I ordered a rug from you today because one of the main colors was teal and appears to match my chairs. A previous reviewer said the colors were true to the picture. I hope she was correct. The chairs are comfortable, appear to be well made, and were reasonably priced. I’m 74 and was able to assemble them myself. I’m looking forward to years of enjoyment with them and hopefully my rug when it is delivered.

Fun, comfortable, and very reasonably priced.

We love these rocking chairs. These cute rockers look great with our authentic metal bench that once belonged to my husband's grandmother. Now the patio all ties together. They are very comfortable, well made, and very reasonably priced. They bring back great memories. I can remember both of my grandparents having the old metal lawn furniture, and I can remember rocking away and making great memories with family.

Solid, they’ll last. But I bought them because reviewers said they were comfortable, but I don’t think they are comfortable at all! My folding camp rockers are way more comfortable. Bummer. I was able to put it together myself, with a bit of difficulty, and my own wrench, because the tool that came with was awful. You must keep things loose until all bolts are in place.

Cute, comfy (for metal) chairs. Went together fairly easily - I put them together by myself. Two people would definitely be easier to help hold pieces in place. Rocks nicely on our wooden deck as long as we position them the direction boards run, otherwise rocking is a little wonky. It's not the fault of the chair, but I may have considered gliding chairs instead for that reason. I do really like how these look though.

Product Failure

I acquired the griffith 2-piece steel rocking chair in June of 2020. I assembled them and put them on the deck in the rear of the house outside. The chairs were nice looking until now almost 5 months later. The powder coating has peeled off revealing the pitted steel surface underneath. The steel has not rusted on the chair back but upon closer inspection is full of pitting and discoloration. A good powder coating should last more than 5 months. The construction of the chair is sturdy but a good powder coating should not be peeling this early in the life on these fairly expensive steel chairs. We intend to get a refund or replacement chairs with a guarantee it won't happen again. There is a fair amount of time in assembly also.

These chairs reminded me of some that my great-grandmother had when I was kid, and I couldn't resist ordering some for myself. They arrived on the estimated delivery date. Unfortunately, the box suffered some damage during transit and some of the parts were beat up. All of the feet were scuffed up a bit due to a hole in that corner of the box. One chair back had a weird paint defect. It wasn't really noticeable to look at, but it had a bubbled kind of texture. There was also a scratch on one of the seats.

Very pleased with these rockers ! We live in FL & have open patios & wooden rockers just don’t last & the are very expensive! I bought 2 sets of these in white. My husband & I put them together in 2 afternoons . They look great & are very comfortable! I’m hoping to buy at least 4 more. I bought them on sale. I think they will last a lot longer then my painted wooden rockers did. I’ve had many compliments on how good they look.

Beautiful, sturdy but assembly is a 2-person job

You really need a second person to get these put together. The most important thing is not to tighten anything until you are completely finished, otherwise the parts are not going to line up. Other than the assembly being a big more involved than expected, the chairs themselves are beautiful and very sturdy. They remind me of chair my grandmother hand only these rock. The red color is beautiful and is a bright addition to our patio.

Great chairs! I wanted to add rockers to my deck that would go with the retro red metal chairs I currently have. While not an exact match, they are the same color and look great. Took some time to put them together but overall pretty easy. They are comfortable and cute. FYI, you do get 2 chairs but you will only receive one box that says chairs (1) so I thought I didn't receive 2. Both chairs fit in one box so it's all good. Highly recommend.

These vintage looking rockers sit on the deck outside my bedroom. I LOVE them! They are metal and perfect for a shady place, cool and comfortable to enjoy relaxing times. I put them together myself but it would have been easier to have another pair of hands. The instructions were visually clear and simple. Had to add washers to a couple of places for a perfect fit. Love the style and the materials are sturdy and exactly what I wanted.
