This was bought as a gift an it has not been opened as of yet so as of condition of product I can not say.

Easy to assemble. Sturdy, tarp keeps out rain and debris when lowered. Wonderful product.

The wood is extremely soft and thin as are the hardware such as the screws. It may hold up to gentle gentle play but if you're buying this for kids, you can't expect that. The canopy doesn't stay up even when tightened as tight as possible, partly because the woods so soft when you tighten the knobs it damages the wood so it just continues to weaken. Just really disappointed.

cute little sandbox! super easy to put together! used 6 50 pound bags of sand to fill it! my two year old loooves it!

5 Months later

I have buyers remorse. Cheap low quality and considering just throwing it away. Not easy to open and close and when it's left open the slightest breeze blows it out of the sand. I have spent a fortune trying to keep this pile of junk where it should be.

Do not buy this

We bought this last summer for my son’s second birthday. The posts immediately snapped and my husband gorilla glued them together. It’s close to impossible to uncover it with one person I am 5’1 so my arms hardly go to both sides at the same time. Pieces of wood have come off on the inside. We are having my dad build a permanent roof for it this summer.

Part was damaged and fingerhut and the manufacture both do not have the part to replace it with.

Terrible quality

Broke before I finished putting it together. Would have been much better to go with one of those plastic turtles.

A little too small but the biggest issue I have is the canopy and wood that holds it up are very cheap thin wood. It feels very flimsy and can be difficult to open or close it by yourself. I feel like one strong gust of wind will snap the wood holding the canopy.
