[Rewarded Review] bathroom center faucet

I was extremely interested with how nice this faucet is . it was fairly easy ti install. the brushed silver looks really nice and expensive in my bathroom. my favorite place thing about pfister is its lifetime guaranteed. and the brand has been around for years perfecting their products. I love my new faucet . I would absolutely recommend this faucet

[Rewarded Review] Not the ordinary faucet

This is a unique faucet. I bought it because of the drain stopper system. Most bathroom faucets have the lever for the drain right behind the faucet spout. This is very inconvenient if the faucet is mounted close to the backsplash, as most are. It's hard to reach back there to push or pull the lever, and some faucets just won't fit. This faucet doesn't have the lever; it has a push down/pop up drain cover. Now some will say that's a disadvantage to have to reach into the dirty water to push on the drain cover, and it probably is. However, there is no lever with under the sink parts that are hard to adjust and subject to failure. This is a simple quick installation and should last for quite some time with no problems. We installed it in a half bath where we really don't ever fill the basin so this won't be a problem. I solved the problem of the small clearance between the faucet and the backsplash and the pop up is not a problem in the half bath sink. So think twice when you buy this faucet and consider where and how you will use it. For us it's perfect.

[Rewarded Review] Nice But Putty Needed

I actually like Pfister products. They have character and seem to work nicely. Installing the faucet was no problem. The instructions stated no tape dope needed when connecting supply lines and they were right - no leaks first time on hook-up. However, the drain was a different issue. Instead of telling you to use plumber's putty to seal the drain, they provide a gasket and specifically tell you to NOT use plumber's putty. Hand tighten only. Unless you just so happen to get lucky you can pretty much ignore that part of the instructions. The gasket is useless. Drip, drip , drip. Oh, did I overtighten it? God knows I put it on loose, tight and anywhere in the middle. More dripping. Enough with that. Tossed the gasket in the trash and used plumbers putty to seal the drain to the sink. You guessed it. Bone dry. Just my two cents.

This faucet is very well built. It has everything needed to complete the install right out of the box. The underside has a gasket built in so there is no messing around with plumbers putty. The under-counter mounting hardware is nicely oversize and will cover any size mounting holes. Nice design with the drain plug being a spring loaded plunger in the sink. This makes the faucet very easy to clean since there aren't any extra unneeded handles for the drain. The bronze finish is very clean and modern, but also seems to go well with rustic and classic decors. The 4 inch rise is also a feature that seems to make this faucet even more appealing. It is just high enough that one doesn't have to bend over to wash their hands. I do not usually rate items so well, but this one absolutely deserves all the praise. It truly is a fantastic product!

[Rewarded Review] Functions great, finish is not durable.

I installed this faucet to replace my bathroom faucet from the same company, just a different model but the same bronze finish. I had the previous one a little less than two years and despite being a meticulously clean person and one that takes good care of my home, the finish on the previous one failed. This was not just a fluke with the one faucet, I have two in my master bath and one in the spare bath and they all corroded at the bottom. This current purchase was very easy to install as a woman with no plumbing experience. The directions were easily understood . I am curious to see how long the finish on this faucet will last me. If it corrodes like the others, no matter how well I take care of it, then I will switch to a different manufacturers product. The bronze finish is beautiful however , I do expect my faucet to look like new for more than two years .
