Had a few glue spots that had to be sanded in order to accept the stain. Otherwise, Just what I wanted. I switched the doors to the middle for stereo components and placed speakers on the end sheleves. Had to rip 1/2" off the inside of each door and drill new holes for the hinge pins. Looks great!

This unit is PERFECT!! I have been searching for something with the right dimensions to fit my Kenwood stereo amp/receiver as it's big. Plus it's made of REAL hardwood & not particleboard crap. I got unfinished because I wanted a project & choose my own color, plus it's cheaper that way. Also it has a few inches of clearance above the floor allowing my unit to be flush with the wall, while HIDING all the cords, which I LOVE. Was easy to put together, but I skipped the step of door glass install as to make staining easier, Lol. Im SO HAPPY with my purchase!!

But I own two types of these storage cabinets with glass doors, and neither piece has doors that fit correctly, they are both off in some way and neither piece has a door that sits flush with the entertainment center completely. That is so annoying to look at and disappointing, but other than that looking past that, it is a great piece of furniture and exactly wat I wanted.
