Sizing is way off!
The material is nice but the fill is very thin. And it is 4” smaller than stated size. Stated size is 68x90. I received 62x90. Returned
the down comforter I was looking for
looked for a new down comforter for a couple months, this is beautifully made. the cover is very nice fabric, love the baffled stitch to keep the down in place.
best comforter after trying many and recommended
Best comforter we bought one for all our rooms in our house to go under coverlettes. Stays cool when needed and warm when needed. light enough to not be too hot and just perfect comforter. My sister recommended this after trying many different brands and this is the best by far

Keeps me warm. The storage it went into said it’s machine washable but dry clean recommended. I like to wash delicate for a good clean but only before use and again to store once it gets warm. Hope it lasts. Their sizing is oversized so recommend you check the dimensions.
5 Stars
I'm very pleased with this purchase! We needed a light to medium weight comforter for spring and summer; and we settled on this one. The cotton is smooth and soft. The weight is just right. I'll probably never wash it, since I put it right into a duvet cover before using it. I just don't have good results from laundering down comforters! So far we love this one! Would make a great gift!
you get what you paid for
Bought this for a guest room. Wasn't expecting much for the price, as I am used to sleeping under the "real thing" at $400. Left this out to fluff and expand for a couple of days. Did ok in expansion, but still very low on promised fill content. Also, be aware: these are not FULL boxed/baffle squares, but partial boxes, that still allow down to shift to corners. You need to shake daily and aggressively push feathers into other boxes, otherwise. you are just sleeping under 2 sheets within 2 days. Good price, but...you get what you pay for. Good for guest room and short stays. Probably not suitable for daily use (unless you need the daily cardio) to keep down fluffed and where it counts. I would recommend this to a friend knowing it is a good price for a cardio workout and not for daily use.
You Get What You Pay For
I searched high and low to find a good deal on a down duvet with the specs I was looking for. I knew I wanted goose (not duck) down, a cotton damask stripe cover that was at least 350TC, baffle box construction, and lightweight (around 600-700 fill power). This duvet seemed to have everything I was looking for, and I was shocked at the price. I had a discount for this being my first purchase, so with shipping I got this home for under $$$. The moment I took it out of the box, I knew something was amiss. It had a VERY strong odor. This tells me the down is not fully cleaned and sanitized, but "treated." It took at least a week for the smell to dissipate. Essentially, if you have allergies, this may trigger them. Properly cleaned down does not have an odor. Also, the Overstock rep stated the fill is white down. I'm not so naive to believe you could get a 100% white goose down duvet at this price. You'd be looking at spending $$$$-$10,000+ people. Be realistic. What I didn't expect, was to receive a duvet FULL of feathers. When you hold it up to the light it is BROWN! I found the exact same comforter on ****** stating it is 50% white goose down/50% white goose feather. I believe it. The "baffle box" leaves a lot to be desired. ****** says double-stitched, self-piping. Take that for what it's worth. The center channels appear to be all feather, and not filled very well at that. The down seems to migrate to the edges. Frustrating, but with some hard fluffing, you can move them around a bit. The channels are NOT secure. The cover is nice, though. It is soft and easily 350TC, so big plus there. The duvet itself is lightweight and soft and does keep me warm enough. I sleep hot. If you're cold-blooded and/or looking for a heavy duvet, I'd skip this one. What you get is nowhere near as "plush" as shown in the picture. I haven't laundered yet, but I don't see why you couldn't wash on cold water/gentle cycle. Drying may be a challenge, though, because of all the feathers. We shall see. I'm not likely to dry clean. I don't think it's worth paying for. Overall, this is just ok for me. I like it enough I wouldn't send it back for the price I paid, but I am disappointed in the quality and being mislead by the stated fill material. I'll keep it as long as it lasts, but I won't purchase again.
