Quality product, heats up quickly at low settings, pre-heating feature is great !

I really like my Beautyrest heated blanket! It’s incredibly soft and heats up quickly, making it perfect for chilly nights. The dual controls are great, allowing each person to customize their comfort, and the sleep feature lets you program when to turn it off, which is so convenient. It fits my bed perfectly, has long cables, and has 20 heat settings. Super easy to operate, and I highly recommend!

So far, it is great.

I have only had the blanket for a few days but it has been a good experience so far. A few things about my setup. 1. I have the queen sized Ivory blanket 2. The blanket is sandwiched between my flat sheets and a larger comforter, with a final blanket on top. 3. The cables are routed underneath my bed frame and run the controllers into drawers on my bed side. 4. The blanket hasn't been washed many times yet. 5. I've only had the blanket for a few days at the time of this review. 6. My blanket has been set to level 12 with a 10 hour sleep timer on 1 side. 7. The light on the controller stays on the whole time it is in use and is fairly bright in a dark room. 8. The tag is placed on the top bottom right of the blanket and may be visible depending on your setup. 9. I tried to use the blanket with a Wyze connected plug to automate nightly schedules but the blanket itself also needs to be turned on manually so it didn't work as expected. 10. The plugs in the blanket seem to have larger plastic flanges for grip when connecting and disconnecting, a nice feature that isn't felt when sleeping. The blanket is soft, the controllers work well, the heat is comfortable and not overbearing and the connection to the plug isn't noticed when on the bed. The electrical heating elements within the blanket are easily felt and seen when handling but not felt when sleeping under them. Benefits being a what I'd think is more robust construction and it is easy to determine where the heat will be when setting up the blanket and between the two zones. Another note, as mentioned above, I have the controllers for the blankets installed in drawers on the sides of my bed frame and the cables running out. These do generate a slight amount of heat and when sealed in the drawers it can be felt once opened. As such I have to leave them open. The instructions advise not to have the controller under the blanket for likely many reasons but the most obvious one would be to ensure it doesn't overheat. Though that the controller itself generates heat is surprising. Perhaps due to all the current running through it. Concerns going forward: I haven't washed the blanket repeatedly and don't know if I will experience pilling or other obvious signs of degradation. The inner side of the blanket is a wonderful Sherpa type material but while nice when new I have never had luck maintaining it as it tends to meld together after awhile even with gentle washes and air drying. The connection between the plugs and the blanket is very tight but that may lead to issues down the line if the force needed to disconnect causes damage. As mentioned many times, the controllers seem to emit heat which feels unusual as I don't remember my old blanket ever doing that, though I didn't have the controllers in a drawer previously. Summarily, the blanket is far softer than my last one but I have concerns regarding its longevity and maintaining the soft comfort in the future. However, I like the blanket so far and would recommend it.

I purchased this blanket for a Christmas present on the 29th of November. The gift was given a week after Christmas . When they received it they didn’t open it until Second week of January. Use it 3 x and discovered it wasn’t working. I called Macys to return for a working blanket only to discover it was beyond the return policy by one day and wouldn’t take it back for a working blanket. I had to buy another one with 25% off very disappointed that I had to buy another one o really thought this blanket was a great buy only to discover it wasn’t. I’ve been a customer with Macys for years . I didn’t want my money back only one that worked

We absolutely love this heat blanket. We set it on 10 to warm up the blanket and that holds heat for a few hours. At 15 it gets really hot. Great for cold winter nights. We all snuggle under on family movie nights. Soft yet thin but it isnt heavy or hard to move around under. Fits great on our king sized bed. We have a 22 mattress and there is still room at the sides so no pulling or tugging to fit. Great purchase!

Lukewarm At Best

Soft, but not so warm. I purchased this because my husband is always cold since being diagnosed with cancer. The throw gets lukewarm at best. I purchased it in purple--which is beautiful, but I'm not impressed by anything else. I would not recommend this to anyone. I'm giving it two stars only because of the softness and color only.

This blanket is wonderful. It is soft and luxurious. It has many heat settings, and they are not overwhelming. This is the best fitting blanket I have ever had. It actually fits my King bed. We aren't fighting over who gets the blanket. It is definitely oversized.

Like it!

Purchased this for a double bed. (Sunbeam lasted 1.5 yr.) This is much better quality, the wires are closer together and there are more of them. The setting goes to 20 (very, very warm) and I only need it between 3 to 5 after I've warmed it up on 10. The only negative is that it's a bit short and just barely wide enough. I bought a double size and it's okay for one person. You'll want a bigger size if you are buying for two people. The only thing I don't like about the controller is that there is no light on the up and down buttons. The numbers are lit and when you push up/down buttons it does get brighter. I hate being without an electric blanket (use year round), so I purchased another one to keep as a backup and another one for a Christmas gift, all in Red, as it was at a reduced price.

The Beautyrest Heated Microlight Berber Blanket is very comfortable, Nice, lightweight and soft with a little fluff touch. The Blanket has No weird smell on the fabric, No Emf Emissions. This Heated blanket is a Queen size that has 2 remote controls to control your heating settings. I love that you can't feel the wiring in the blanket and how well the heat distribution is not overwhelming. You have 20 heat settings and you have a option to pre heat. After 10 hours there's an Automatic shut off in which you can also set it on a timer which is a neat feature. I am still half and half on how I like the two controllers as I feel it's a lot of wires for 1 blanket but it comes in handy not having to reach all the way over other side of blanket. This blanket was comfortable and helped me sleep much better. I am very happy with it but still feel like 1 controller is enough unless it is to only do a half and half side on the blanket. But feel as most people take more cover it could go either way in that.

This Beautyrest Microlight Reverse to Berber Luxury Heated Blanket is amazing! It is so warm, comforting, and absolutely luxurious. I like that it features 20 heat settings for personal preferences. The 10 hour automatic shut-off provides me with peace of mind. The 5 year warranty is definitely a great thing to have as well. This blanket is easy to care for as it launders well. I very highly recommend this wonderful heated blanket!

The Beautyrest Heated Microlight to Berber Elect Electric Blanket is a wonderful addition to our bedding collection. It has two 20 Heat Level Setting Controllers which work great. I tend to get much colder at night than my Husband so I can have my setting set to a higher temperature than what is comfortable for him. Having 20 different settings has allowed for fine tuning the temperature to what is best for each of us. It also has an automatic shut off, which my Husband likes to use. The blanket is super soft, cozy, lightweight and comfortable for year round use even when you don't need the heating aspect. I love that they have taken into account the ElectroMagnetic Field emissions, and have virtually eliminated that concern. There is a 5 year warranty which I feel is very generous. I really love the Tan color that I chose.

[Rewarded Review] Lowered my electric bill!

I love this heated blanket!!! My house gets so cold in the winter and it seems the heater is constantly running. I freeze almost nightly, so I got this blanket to keep me warm. It’s so amazing and snuggly! I’m in love with how soft it is and how warm it keeps me! It has duel controls so you and your partner can sleep at whatever temp makes you comfortable. It’s also double sided, with one size fuzzy and the other side smooth. Best of all, I lowered my electric bill by not running my heater at such a high temp! I would absolutely buy this blanket again!!!

[Rewarded Review] “Excellent Quality Made Heated Blanket!”

I’m really happy with my new Heated Microlight to Berber Blanket by Beautyrest! This beautiful blanket is so soft and cozy with the berber on one side and plush on the other! It’s a perfect weight too! Not too heavy at all! This blanket heats up fast with the easy to use temperature controls. 20 settings and 10 hour shutoff is definitely a plus! I’m really looking forward to the cooler weather now! I truly recommend this product!

Perfectly Comfortable & Easy to Use.

After putting up with another companies electric blanket that I would give a single star to, I decided that "You get what you pay for". I am so happy that I purchased this Beautyrest blanket. The size is wider than my previous blankets which means that it covers us on the side as well as the length (foot). It heats quickly and maintains the temperature all night. The 20 heat settings is a little over the top, but they do just fine. I enjoy the Preheat setting as I can turn it on while preparing for bed and by the time I crawl under the blanket the bed is toasty warm (my feet love that feature!). The LED light is easy on the eyes in the dark, and the control is very easy to use, even without actually looking at it. The added weight of this blanket compared to the other plain electric blanket means that I don't always need to turn the heat on (I am more warm blooded than hubby is). I have not needed to wash it so far. The cleaning instructions are for the old fashioned top loader washers; so I have not idea how I am going to manage that with my modern electronic controlled front loader. Chatting with the help line was useless. I still believe a 5 star rating is proper.

Very Highly Recommend!

My husband loves this. I sleep hot; he sleeps cold. We have a split King bed and each have our own bedding. This electric blanket is fabulous. It is so soft and the Sherpa underside makes it comforting, as well. Yet, it is lightweight, so it does not pull down on his feet, as the prior pile of blankets he used did. As advertised, the wires running throughout it are small, soft, and flexible. This is definitely a high quality electric blanket. I’d advise doing as I did and shopping for the best sale you can find on it, as quality costs

I got the wrong blankets!?

Did I get the wrong items? It looks like it! I ordered this is blue for a twin. It's a beautiful color, I ordered blue. Now I also ordered a full size (different blanket but same brand) in aqua. I received twin in aqua and the full size in blue. The blue one is I think sherpa lined. It's a warmer night so we haven't tried them yet. I hope they work!

I am editing this review just slightly over 30 days in one of the blanket ceased working. Lights flashing on the controller and none of the reset. Options work. I Purchased these based on the quality of the name, knowing that the last heated blanket I had was five years old. I had donated it to my daughter when I purchased these. They’ve actually been in use 30 days and one already doesn’t work. Great quality and color. They are soft to the touch and the tourquoise works perfectly with the rug I purchased. I love the automatic off for the heating!

Got to try the Beautyrest heated microlight to Berber heated blanket and really like it. It has come in handy with the weather being all over the place lately. This is a heated blanket that you need to plug in. Has 20 heat settings and 10 hour automatic shut-off. Easy to use just plug in and select heat setting can even preheat. Recommended not to put the connection cord under the mattress or under the blanket. should be under the bed. Not for children under 12, immobile or incapacitated, diabetic or insensitive to heat or anyone who cannot understand the instructions. This blanket is very soft and fuzzy. Has been great with the temperatures starting to go down at night and can’t wait to use during the winter. Easy to wash but not recommended to dry in dryer for more than 5 minutes. Must hang to dry so it doesn’t damage the heating elements. Comes with 2 controllers to control the heat. Overall this is a great heated blanket that does its job.

I picked this blanket up to snuggle up under this fall. As it starts getting cooler, I like to keep my house cool and minimize on my heating bill. Having a heated blanket allows me to keep the thermostat set to a budget friendly 60 degrees, but stay toasty warm on the couch or in bed. The material is soft and fluffy which makes it super comfortable. There are 2 control remotes that allow you to share with someone that doesn’t want the same temperature. I like keeping it on the bed and turning it on just before I start my nightly routine. It warms up quickly, so it’s ready for me to jump in and has a sleep timer to shut it off a prevent hazards while you sleep.
