Awful smell and uncomfortable

I am very disappointed with the mattress. First, the mattress has an awful chemical smell. I’ve had the mattress almost four weeks now, and the smell will not go away. I had a hard time sleeping in my room because the smell was that bad. Also, the smell is not limited to my mattress. I bought the queen version for my guest room, and that mattress has the same awful smell. Second, the bed is not plush. I’ve had more back pain with this mattress than my old previous one. I thought I needed to give the mattress more time, but, unfortunately, this mattress is not comfortable. I do not recommend this mattress.

Check the mattress for sewn in tags.

I’ve slept on the bed for three nights, and all three nights.,Within 15 minutes my torso started sinking into it. I noticed, when I first got the bed that the tags had been ripped off and the tags that were on it were from a plastic fastener gun. I then looked at the mattress more closely and noticed a couple of black spots. I do believe this mattress had been returned because one of the major tags was ripped off. I could still see the place where it was. I believe that a very heavy person slept on the right side of that mattress and that’s what caused my torso to sink in. I read their return policy and it stated that all original tags had to be still on it which they weren’t and that it was a $249 return fee. I did not contact them because of this. I knew that they would not take back the mattress because of this and I had no proof that I didn’t tear off those tags. So what I ended up doing was turn the mattress. It’s better in but knowing that I have a used mattress and I paid full price doesn’t sit well with me. I if you buy a mattress from them and they have this return policy, make sure you absolutely see that all the tags are sewn in and that there are no spots on the mattress

Beautyrest Queen mattress BRS 800 13.5"

The Beautyrest Queen mattress is comfortable, the topper is not as soft as I was hoping but it is sufficient . I did buy a mattress pad which seems to help. There is still a slight gas smell coming for the mattress even after several weeks, although it does seem to be lessing. It also seems to be sagging already as I am only 118 lbs, this has me a little concerned about how long this mattress will continue to be firm, i don't have backaches anymore from my older mattress it replaced. I thought of returning it and getting a different brand, but the headache of all that plus probably paying returning shipping fees is just not worth it. I only paid $500.00 of it. Just wait a couple years and get a different one.

The Princess and the Pea Mattress

Most comfortable mattress on the market. I've told the "Princess and the Pea" story to many when telling others. I opened an airbnb in Montana and almost every review was on the "most comfortable mattress" and best sleep. Previously I had slept on the same mattress and knew it was the best available for my bad back. After moving back home and giving my calif. king bed away I searched for this same mattress at a good price. Best price and best mattress found, easy purchase, easy delivery. Can't say enough about what a perfect mattress. I've had many different brands in 6 decades, many specifically advertised for bad backs, but will always only sleep on this Beautyrest.

THIS MATTRESS IS TRASH!!!!!!

This mattress is trash! I m purchased this mattress online. The first night sleeping on the mattress my lower back and side hip was sore. The second night I couldn't sleep. I had to go in my spare room and sleep on my old mattress. Now, I'm in the process of returning the mattress. The mattress was on sale for 379.00. Mattress firm charge a 249.00 return fee and 20% or 30% return stock fee. This mattress is basically non-refundable!!!!!!! They took my money and used the return policy to keep it.

Disappointed

I was so excited about this mattress but after two weeks of sleeping on it there’s a huge bump forming in the middle. My partner and i only weigh 140lbs each. This shouldn’t be happening this soon. It’s comfortable but a mattress is a purchase that’s supposed to last and for it to already be visibility this mutilated is super disappointing. Not to mention if anyone gets too close to the middle they roll the opposite way it’s that bad. Make sure you get the warrantee with it.

Perfect for guest room!

Comfortable enough for a few nights. Very well made. I prefer a firm bed for long term use, however this medium bed is great for guests as it does not need to be broken in as it is already very comfortable. It was light enough for my husband and I to carry to our second floor but still very supportive. It works well with our adjustable base. I slept on it for 5 nights in a row and had no issues at all. I would highly recommend this mattress. Also it was a great value!!

Great mattress. Great sale.

Extremely comfortable with an excellent sale price. We have purchased 5 mattresses from Mattress Firm. Always very friendly staff. We needed another one for my son in college so we went looking. We found one at Mattress Firm that he liked. The price was just too high for me. I checked back about a week later and the exact model was 1/2 price. We purchased it and as always were very happy with the delivery people. My husband just had Covid and was sleeping on that mattress for 10 days. He did to want to come back down! We patronize Mattress Firm because one mattress we purchased for my mother slumped in the area where she layed. It was one year later and we were yet again looking for a mattress and I mentioned it to the staff. He said we will come pick it up and replace it for free. No problem. The replacement mattress has be excellent.
