My elderly father loves his new gray/dark blue reversible blanket -- keeps him warm (but not hot) and cozy. Nice material and soft texture. Though it comes with loops to attach an attachable duvet, they're not needed for his purposes and not so big that they're unsightly. Needed a Twin XL for a nursing home-size bed and they had the right size. Very happy with this purchase.

Was as pictured. I was looking for an oversized king, and it was very large, almost hitting the floor on all sides. The negative was that it showed dog hair badly, and I could not get it off, plus baby oil would not come out. I ordered a duvet and plan to cover it. It may do fine in a guest room but not the best in an active home.

Great duvet insert!

The duvet insert was perfect thickness - is not too thin or thick. I do not get hot during the night like I did with our old one. Unlike some reviews - the insert does have corners to tie to duvet cover to keep in place. Great purchase and great price.

Was trying to go with farm sink, but cabinetry would not allow. I found this a d was amazed at quality of product for such an affordable alternative.

I love Bares products, prices and quality. I was somewhat disappointed in the very limited color choices available for each product. Limiting the color choices to only the trending less vibrant colors limits our choices as buyers, hence your sales. I was also disappointed there were not matching or coordinating colors for bed skirts for those of us still using the high mattresses. I would buy Bare again and again if some of these expansions were put into place because I love the quality, value and simplicity of the products. Most people love supporting small businesses so willing to provide good quality products. Keep up the good work, good luck, and I will spread the word whenever possible.

Cozy and warm, but not hot

Perfect weight for winter. Warm but not too warm. I also purchased the duvet cover and I appreciate the loops on the duvet and ties on the cover to keep everything in place. Because it's not down, the filling stays evenly distributed, and it's plenty cozy.

fabulous down alternative!

Super fabulous down alternative comforter. Perfect for all seasons! Warm in the winter but light enough for summer! Will be using on numerous project!!! Very happy with our purchase!

Great insert

Love this insert. It is soft and warm. It also has 4 corner loops and an extra loop on each side, for a total of 8 loops which is made to be used with their duvet cover. The insert stays perfectly inside the cover. I absolutely love it.

We purchased the full/queen size comforter to fit on our twin xlong adjustable beds with a 17" thick mattress. This full/queen size is perfect width to cover the platform but not desg on the floor. Very lightweight but puffy and dense enough to keep us warm without the use of extra blankets. In winter we use a flannel flat sheet and will transition to regular weight sheet as nighttime temperatures get warmer. The fabric is smooth and soft to the touch. Great attention to stitching details. Everything is good quality!

I really LOVED this duvet! Had a funky smell so I left it to air @8hrs and it went away. The cover came and I assembled it and I will say this is not an ALL season duvet. Truly if you are a hot sleeper as I am, or even a regular sleeper I would NOT recommend this one. I gave it to a cold sleeper and they love it! That is the reason I gave it a 4 star. I was sad because I loved it!

LOVE IT

This is a very nice comforter for the price. I love the loops to tie the duvet cover in place. Super handy and it's about time someone did that. lol. I would recommend this product. Bare is a Minnesota-Based company and that makes it even better.

The duvet insert arrived in a few days and fluffed up nicely in a few minutes. It is insidea flannel insert and I love it. The calking I ordered will fit into other duvet covers I have. I am dismayed that duvet insets are not standard sizes but I am happy that this one fits nicely into covering already have. I ordered it in the queen size as well.

This comforter has attention to detail, and it is soft, fluffy, and warm. It is the perfect size, excellent for a king size bed. The colors are rich and vibrant. The dual colors are true to the image and very attractive on the bed. The outter material is soft with soft inner padding. You cannot go wrong with this comforter. It has cooks to use it with a duvet cover, or you can use it without because they blend in flawlessly. It is cozy and feels expensive, although it was priced right.

Just Enough Duvet

The Bare Home Duvet is the perfect weight & thickness for people who sleep hot. Plenty warm on cold chilly nights but not too warm. Perfect! Gave it 3 stars because of the difficulty I had ordering it online. I had to call Customer Service to assist and I still didn't have My Rewards $ applied to this purchase though I was guaranteed they were.

Absolutely love, highly recommend!

I spent a week trying to find a reasonably priced duvet insert that could work year round, and I finally settled on this one. As soon as I took it out of the packaging, I knew I made the right choice. The texture is super soft, almost silky, and it filled out the duvet cover perfectly - when I make the bed, it has a cozy, slightly fluffy look. The straps at each end were a nice touch too, to tie the cover down at the corners. I'm so glad I finally switched from my cheap IKEA one!

Fluffy, warm & comfortable for lower winter temps. Not using it in a duvet. Ok after 1st washing. Liked drying tip to add 2 clean tennis balls in drier to fluff filling. .
