Absolutely perfect! Comes fully assembled. (It is very heavy). High quality. Very sturdy. Color is exactly as it appears in photos—cream with dark grey top. Table has hidden wheels that allow it to be moved easily if needed. No complaints at all. Very pleased with this purchase. Worth every penny.

Bolanburg lift top cocktail table

Love it!! Love the pullout drawers for extra storage. The colors are perfect with our living room furniture, the lighter colored lower part makes the room look bigger. We previously bought the end table, that has USB plug ins and love it too. Since it’s just my husband and I, we love the lift up top, as we eat dinner in the living room while watching TV.

Love this table!

This coffee table is perfect. Someone said the lift-top slides down. I don’ t have that problem at all, we eat on it and lean on it all the time and it stays up. And it is not backwards, the drawers should be on the other side, you don’t want to open the drawers where your feet are. I love all the storage space and the colors are great. So happy with it. Got one of each of the end tables too!

ALMOST a perfect coffee table

The Bolanburg is very attractive, sturdy, and has great features like 4-drawer storage and a smooth lift-top. After using it for 2 weeks, I would recommend 2 improvements. There ought to be a lock on the castors/wheels so that it won’t roll away when you prop your feet on it. Second, if you use the lift top as a table (I will often bring food from the kitchen and watch tv at the couch), it lowers with only a few pounds of pressure. It’s fine for a plate and a drink, but if you ignore your manners and put your elbows on the table- down it falls. (Or if your cat decides to investigate what’s for dinner- kerplunk!) I am considering keeping something in the table to brace it open at the desired height- but a built-in locking mechanism would be simple and very useful.

Not the highest quality but looks ok (not solid wood but a mix of some wood, veneers, and manufactured wood) The top is definitely a veneer of some sort and looks slightly plasticky. The table is an off white/distressed creamy color with a top that leans more toward gray. It doesn't show up on photos or get mentioned in any description but there is a distinct orange/rust veining through the table top. The amount of storage is nice, with 4 drawers and a shallow compartment under the lid. The table is on casters so slides easily, even on carpet. The lift top feature is a plus if you want to eat in front of the tv, however the extended height is about chest high (if you are sitting on a couch) so it is a bit awkward for all but anyone over 6 ft tall. It is also too high for using the extended table as a work surface for writing or laptops.

Love the coffee table!

We love this coffee table. We viewed it previously in. Showroom but weren’t willing to pay the much higher price. Finding the exact same item at a discount was a pleasant surprise. It is packed well from the manufacturer, shipped and arrived faster than expected, and was flawless upon delivery and unpacking. Great table and great experience.

This piece looks better on the site than it does in person. It’s still a nice coffee table, but the off-white color is a little more yellowish and there are some noticeable defects in the paint job. Small as they may be, but noticeable. The drawers offer decent storage but they are a little on the small side and they open and close pretty hard. The lift top is awesome and convenient but it doesn’t have a piston for smooth operation; it is only spring loaded. It does have a little trouble closing all the way, especially if a blanket or pillow in the storage compartment gets in the way of the spring or hinge mechanism. Also, being waterproof/ resistant, it does look more like plastic than real wood. It is on rollers, which is nice for not scratching the floor when you move it, but it does move very easy with a small push or bump. I do like it for the price though

Perfect table

We absolutely love our new coffee table! It has hidden wheels which was absolutely necessary to go with our new reclining couch so we could easily move it out of the way. We also use it as our dining table since it's just us in a small apartment and the lift top is perfect! It's easy and smooth to lift or lower, even with weight on it. Plus all the extra storage is great too.

Buy this coffee table! You won't regret it!

The coffee table is beautiful and the drawers eliminate top of the table clutter. The shipping box was damaged on a couple of corners but because the table was packaged so well it was not damaged. I picked the antique white with the gray wood look top and I'm so glad I did. It's so pretty but also fits our casual farmhouse look. And the fact that it comes already assembled with no show casters made it a no brainer for

Perfect; no building required

The fact that this came built alone is worth a five star review! But aside from that, it really is amazing. The base color is creamy and the top has some grey tones. Drawer space is ample and, of course, the lift top is the big selling feature: it works perfectly! If anything, the final position is a bit too high, but the holding mechanism is pretty strong, I think you could lift it only partially. And it's on wheels!!! Everything about this table has been thought out.

I have this table. It is absolutely not worth $799 as listed. $300 tops, and that assumes you are used to paying full price for what is essentially disposable furniture. The casters are made of plastic and the plastic wheels collapse under the weight of the coffee table itself, and it's difficult to impossible to determine the size of the caster fittings to order replacements that are made of something sturdier. Overall the build quality is mediocre. The drawers don't have glides with rollers, only two pieces of plastic that "roll" by sliding over plastic embedded ball bearings that are "greased" with graphite powder. If you ever built a pinewood derby car, its the same concept as the plastic wheels on metal nail axles. The bottom of the unit is flat with plywood that is inherent to the structural integrity. The top is plastic with plastic laminate wood grain, that will chip and flake no matter how careful you are. For it's quality this is actually worth nothing. You could never sell it to another person for more than say $50 bucks. It's junk. But then again everything new is junk these days.

Beautiful coffee table.

If i could rate it higher i would. Words cannot even explain this coffee table. I love that it was assembled, and was protected from the shipping process, nicely corners was protected. It arrived with no dings etc. A wonderful idea, is its on casters. Has 4 drawers, top lifts up. Very pleased with this purchased. i took pictures of it and sent my family pics,,,their response was ,,,,where can they get one. Its heavy, solid wood,,,we are so very pleased with this purchase. Lift Top Table

My wife was looking for added storage and a place to have folks over to have snacks or a meal in the living room. We saw something at a yard sale that did all that and we didn't know it existed. We liked the concept but wanted something that suited us better in style and storage. I went online, and since we've purchased other things from American Furniture Warehouse, I started there. I found this item online and we both liked it but we needed to see it in person. We drove to the warehouse and the staff directed us to the item and after checking it out, purchased it. The salesman was very helpful and answered all our questions which is rare these days. It's now home and when our children and grandchildren come over, they think it's way cool.

Its great but....

I love this table and I am happy with my purchase. That being said, the quality is lacking compared to the Bolanburg dining table that I bought directly from Ashley. I wondered why this table is $100 cheaper than most other stores and I am no expert but I believe this might be a knock off or an "outlet store" factory line blunder. The drawers do not glide as smooth as my dining tables and the wood of the drawers is a thinner product. The knobs are the same but not secured as well and there was a dent in the wood under the lift top table. Overall for the price I am happy and it will do the job, but its quality is definitely different from the Ashely Bolanburg line that I am used to.

Stylish and multi functional, a must have piece!

It's a coffee table that adds a much needed touch of style to my preferences of neutral and earthy colors. It really anchors my room as a "this is my style" without being overstated. The little and big drawers are used to hold board games while the bigger hidey-hole under the tabletop holds our dogs toy basket, as he thinks it's a chew toy as well. It would be good for blankets too. It raises and lowers smoothly and is easy enough for a young child to do it. The faux wood top is great for if there are spills and cleanup without worrying about ruining the material.

Nice item to have!

I have this item for over two months now. It arrived broken. It was broken on the side, not a huge break but somewhat noticeable. I called customer service they ended up giving some $$ back. I took the deal because I had previously ordered the same item twice through Amazon and both time the item arrived broken, a big break. Amazon offered to give me money back if I kept the item but I didn't take the deal. Both time the break was too big, the item needed to be replaced. It is a nice practical item that has different options of use. I like all the storage drawers it has. I love it. I definitely recommend it to anyone who's looking for style and convenience at the same time.

This coffee table is absolutely the bomb. I bought two of the matching Bolandburg Chairside End Tables with USB Ports and Outlets as well as them having a built in magazine rack and pull out double cup holder and remote holder i had no idea they came with and was extremely pleased. This coffee table is stunning. The pull out drawers are so handy and the left-top has made life a lot easier when my husband and i want to enjoy dinner in the living room. The coffee table is heavy and sturdy and is of very good quality. It goes great in my living room with my coastal theme, but would go with any decor. The lift can be easily adjusted to suit in seconds. I love not having any assembly. I just pulled it out of box and it was perfect. It matches my Bassett Entertainment center that was purchased at a furniture store for 5,000. It was important that i find something of good quality to match and this coffee table surpassed my wishes. I would have paid over a 1,000 for the coffee table from the other company. I highly recommend this gem. I am very picky and a little critical on quality of furniture and was concerned about buying without seeing the quality Pictures can be deceiving and at this price I was concerned but i'm glad i took the leap. Now I am on a search with Overstock for a dinning room set.

I've decided to rate this table 4 stars because I love the look and functionality of it so much that there are certain quality concerns I'm willing to overlook. Pros: Love the warm neutral color scheme. The top is a dark gray/brown/taupe and the warm white bottom creates a striking contrast. It features ample storage (two shallow drawers that open from the sides and two deep bottom drawers that open from the front). We've had no issues with opening/closing the drawers. I love that it's on wheels that you can't see, and the lift top is smooth and well-supported. It's great for eating or working in the living room. I also like that it has the modern farmhouse look without being overly distressed. Cons: We exchanged the first table we received bc paint was chipping off in areas at the lightest touch. I believe this particular table was defective bc the replacement does not have this problem. However, it does have minor cracks in two of the legs and a bit of a "crater" on the surface beneath the lift top (luckily not visible unless in the lifted position). The working drawers do not lay 100% flush with the table (they protrude a tiny bit). There's also a blotchy gray spot on one of the legs that looks like dirt. While these cons disappoint me, I'm too in love with look and functionality of the piece to return it, and none of the concerns are all that noticeable.
