Great multi purpose bench

Love this bench! Great to have a bench with incline and decline adjustments. Great quality, this shop has the best equipment.

Horrible

Bought this may 27, took 3 weeks to get here, damaged. Assembly is a nightmare because it’s just random pictures thrown together, and it’s not advertised but the distance between racks is only 29 inches…. So with an Olympic bar bell you never get your hands in a good spot to lift. Stay away and get a better bench!!

What a piece of junk

I had thought that Body Solid built good equipment for the serious person who wants fairly good home gym. I made the purchase believing that...what a HUGE mistake. This bench is horrible on so many levels for the serious person who works out it is not even funny.

So happy I made this purchase!!

This bench is the real deal. Set up was easy even though the direction look to be confusing it actually helps once you start reading and putting it together. The bench base is bigger than I thought but very well made. Seat and back padding is very nice and moving around is super easy with the wheels and this thing is sturdy when working out meaning it doesn’t move at all. Overall couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

really good bench for home use

Can do incline, decline, and flat bench with 600 lbs capacity. It has attachments such as leg developer and bicep curl. Will need your own wrenches if u want to speed things up. I've attached the wrench sockets sizes for all u need. It has wheels to roll around. I'm 5'7'' and I can use the leg developer just fine. Took me about 2 hours to put it together but I was taking my time. Instructions are straight forward. I did a lot of research before settling for this home bench.

Solid bench!

Offers many adjustments to get the best positioning for work-outs! Very sturdy and easy to roll to desired location.

A bit over priced

Been using this for a couple weeks now. It's s great bench don't get me wrong but it's a little small. I'm 6"2' 200 lbs so I'm not exactly big but I'm not little either. The foam is dense and comfortable, the bench adjusts quite easily. But the construction doesn't inspire much confidence. The bolt that all of your weight rests on, that fits in the grooves to hold the bench flat or at an angle feels extremely flimsy, so I haven't used much weight on it. It took about an hour to assemble. Also there are no rubber feet on the bottom so if you're going to use this on concrete you'll need to get a rubber pad or buy some rubber flooring because the legs are large and flat and painted.

Not worth it

You are better off spending a little more money and going with another bench than this one by body solid. The only good thing about this one is the frame, the padding is horrible and wobbly when trying to do incline workouts. Decline setting is horrible to try to stay balanced with any heavy weight. I have the Rogue monster flat bench and it is awesome and well built compared to this junk by body solid. Please don't waste you money.

Body solid fid46 adjustable bench

Took two days to assemble. One part had a small dent in it, but I was able to work around it once I pounded out the dent. Wish seats were leather. But otherwise a good product.

I ordered the Body Solid GFID100 Flat Incline Decline Bench to use with a smith machine I purchased.

Great & Easy Assembly

This product is far better than the first one I had to send back to Amazon. The assembly instructions made more sense, which made it easier to put together to use right away.

Excellent

First, the instructions for putting this together were first class. They were very clear, and each step's nuts and bolts were shrink wrapped to a labeled piece of cardboard with drawings of the included nuts and bolts. Secondly this is a very durable bench and has gotten a lot of use by the whole family. My single complaint is that I am short (5' 3") and while I can use it, I would have felt better if it were an inch lower to the ground. However, perhaps a tall person would be inconvenienced by that. I can certainly reach the leg curl rollers, so it works fine.
