Great “Prepper” Pantry Shelving

Quality is never expensive. This is my second Seville Classics purchase. I’m very happy with the quality of both items. Their prices are much better than the big box stores when you do a direct comparison. I bought the extra shelf and in fact should have bought another as we used this shelving to upgrade a closet into a long term food storage pantry and don’t need tall shelf spacing. Seven tiers would probably make this the perfect “prepper” pantry storage.

I like everything about your shelves and wheels but to get that other star would require liners at no extra cost.

Measurement issues

If you need an exact size to fit something inside a wire shelving unit, make the unit one size larger. I needed something that would fit 2 objects in a shelf. I could only do one because the size on the website is total physical size of the unit, not the size of available shelf space. The 4 metal posts got in the way. Other than that, solid construction and would buy again.

Great product, easy to put together and very sturdy.

Steelton doesn't number their posts, which is not nearly as convenient as posts that ARE numbered. but their clips have a line that help you line up your clips, which is convenient. If you don't need casters, i recommend "Regency 18" x 48" x 74"" which is currently $ and has much sturdier metal and can hold twice as much weight. You can pretty much bend the center of the shelves with little to medium effort.3 stars for a lower bang for your buck.

I like the steel shelving. I couldn’t believe how easy it was to put together. It is well made and I think it will last a long time. It holds a lot.

Second purchase. Needed a convenient

Second purchase. Needed a convenient place to store outdoor cushions in my garage and this shelving is perfect. Adjustable height allows for proper storage. Just roll the shelf to the door and cushions are ready to put outside.

Love this shelving unit!

Love the shelving unit. Fits perfectly in the space need to use it in. I chose to put the included wheels on the unit because I needed it to be mobile and I am not planning on anything extremely heavy on it. I I ever do need it to hold very extreme weight I will switch to the included feet instead of the wheels as that increases the weight capacity by 6x. Highly recommend these shelving unit!

Transportation Mishap, but Still Reliable

The ring on one corner of the shelf was slightly flattened during transportation, which prevented it from fitting perfectly during installation. However, I’d prefer not to go through the trouble of replacing it. Aside from that, the rack is very sturdy. I use this five-layer shelf to store kitchen appliances, including a microwave oven, electric pressure cooker, dough mixer, and other small appliances.

Shelving does not meet specifications

We needed a shelving unit six feet wide but could not locate one so we purchased this five foot unit. Without the wheels the shelves are specified to hold 600 pounds each. We initially put 200 pounds on the bottom shelf. It began to sag in the middle so we reduced to 150 pounds. The unit does not meet the specifications listed.

The shelves are very useful

The shelves are very useful and a very nice confirgureation for storage. But what arrives is an issue When 3 of 10 shelves arrive (very poorly packed by the way) but not obviously damaged in shipping by the shipper one has to look at they pre shipping quality control. These are supposed to be sturdy but I had to wait for 3 to be replaced. Don't know how you're stacking them or crushing them but stop it!

Great product, but came broken!

I've bought these in the past, and been very happy. Quality assurance must've slipped, though, because two of the shelves came with cracked "cups" (the metal piece on the corners of the shelf that rests against the black plastic clips on the upright rods). I looked into what was involved with returning them: aggrieved customer gets to foot the bill for returned shipping (these are heavy!), etc. Forget it. I found the right-sized hose clamp, and was able to make it work by squeezing the cracked ones. Not good to have to do these repairs on a brand new product, but it seems to work.

Attractive, heavy-duty, mobile storage units.

I have a number of these shelving units purchased over several years and find them excellent for many uses including storage of shop tools, gardening supplies and equipment, household items, and even clothing. The units are easily assembled, mobile, and exceptionally strong. The sturdy and easily adjustible shelving, plus the smooth mobility provided by the heavy-duty casters, make these units extremely user friendly.
