Great replacement for my old incandescent bulbs in globe ceiling fixtures. Much brighter, wishing I’d replaced them all sooner.
Perfect addition to our bathroom remodel!
Purchased 10 units approximately 2 years ago. Liked the slim look and they fit well in the older junction box. Worked great while they lasted. Three lights suddenly went out in areas with minimal use. Ordered 3 more to replace these and 2 of them didn’t work at all. Won’t buy again.
PERFECT size for small hall closet
This fixture is being used as a front closet ceiling light, replacing the old light-bulb-in-the-ceiling-with-a-pull-chain fixture...replacement was well overdue! It has a sleek design, very low profile, yet illuminates the area very well. Items may eventually be stored only a few inches away but from the fixture but because of the LED bulbs, which emit less heat than other types of lighting, this fixture is safer to use in this space where there would otherwise be a risk of fire.
These lights provide ample light for a closet
The light is easy to hook up the electrical and is fairly bright. The metal ring installs easily onto the screws on the j-box. The only problem I had was the j-box was installed flush with the back side of the drywall not the exposed side. I tried to use a 1/2" extension ring but the inside diameter of the ring was the same diameter as the lights metal ring so the clips on the light would not hold the light in place. I ended up cutting notches out of the extension ring to allow the tabs on the light to be able to "clip" on the metal ring. This was not an issue with the light but was due to the electrician's incorrect installation of the j-box. It just highlights the fact that the j-box needs to be perfectly installed or the light won't be able to snap in and stay up tight to the ceiling

Great little light. Has a very low glow if you use on a dimmer, great for a night light.
Easy installation and zero maintenance.
Good news: You don't have to worry about dropping those little set screws. You don't have to worry about dropping wire nuts as they include connectors. You don't have to change light bulbs, or worry about breaking a light bulb. Bad news: The "snap in" feature takes a lot of pressure, and when you are working with electronics, it's not fun to force things. But nothing broke! Also, it gets VERY hot. The outside rim gets almost as hot as a regular lightbulb. (I don't have the actual temperature, and obviously it's safe, but I was surprised.)
Great design, easy to do it yourself!
This light was perfect for the use we had in mind. Slim construction with just the right amount of light for the space
Nice, Bright ceiling light
I received this light as part of the Home Depot Seeds Program. There was an area between my family room and kitchen that I wanted to put lights in the ceiling behind the theater seats. I thought that this would fit the bill. I need three of them and will have to purchase two more. A bit more expensive than others but it's definitely a quality built light. The only issue I have is that I'll need to add a cut-in J-box to attach the bracket to, which then I can attach the light to. With technology the way it is today, it would have been so much easier to just put the tabs on the light so all I have to do is cut the hole and then push the light up, and the tabs will catch the backside of the sheetrock and it holds. The J-box way isn't a big deal because I'm thinking that the company figured people would be removing an outdated light fixture and just connecting the bracket to that, which makes perfectly good sense. Other than that, like I said, the light is definitely a quality build, heavy-duty and sturdy, and it's got the push connectors so I don't need any wire nuts.
Simple and easy to install
I am slowly replacing the lights in my house and switching them over to LED as opposed to a traditional light bulb. LED lights last much longer and use less energy. I have never heard of this brand, but I like how simple it is. I appreciate that instead of including the twist type of wire nuts, this comes with the push in connectors. I really dont think you can find an easier light to install and at 1100 lumens, its plenty bright but maintains a low profile.
Thin Profile
So my small bathroom needs an updated light fixture and the NEXT GLOW Ultra Slim Edge-Lit 6.5 in. Round White 4000K LED is where it is going. The clip-in Installation (on a J-box) should make for an easy installation. It's rated for a surge-protected dimmable damp location. That means I'll use a LED-compatible dimmer switch to control the brightness.
Simple installation thought out
I am working an addition to my house and thought this neutral white round ceiling light would be a good placement in a closet.
low profile, great for walk-in closets, easy install, bright
Perfect for my walk-in closets. I replaced a contractor style, small globe light. This new
Premium feel, premium look, simplified installation.
This is one of the better-constructed light fixtures I’ve ever worked with. The bezel and backing are both metal, which give it a heft and rigidity that scream “quality!” The white finish on the bezel is likewise very good, and the integrated wiring connectors (Look, Ma, no wire nuts!) made this one of the easiest installations ever. In use, the 4000K edge lit panel appears consistently lit and does a great job of illuminating a closet or other small space. In many installations, this would be the best of all possible worlds. Unfortunately, mine was not that installation, and I’ll share three concerns to help you use this fixture where most appropriate. First, this fixture is intended to fit snugly against the ceiling, and that works only if the electrical box to which it’s connected is at or behind the wallboard. In my retrofit installation, the octagonal electrical box protruded beyond the surface of the ceiling without an easy means to correct it. That meant that the fixture itself sticks out farther than it should. I went ahead, because in this laundry alcove installation, nobody but me is likely to ever notice. Second is that the installation instructions are OVERLY SIMPLIFIED. One key bit of information that is lacking is how far back to strip your supply wires to make the connections; I found that about 3/8” to ½” of exposed copper wire is most appropriate. Finally, this fixture comes with some unusual wiring connections that are simplicity itself to use, but there’s no instructions about how to UNDO a connection that was made incorrectly – perhaps because the wrong wire was inserted or the stripped end was the wrong length. Incidentally, the connectors allow for up to three wires each, so can be daisy-chained to additional fixtures. The LED fixture itself does not have a replaceable bulb, but does have an estimated 50,000 hour life, three year warranty, and puts out 1100 lumens (roughly the light of a 75 watt incandescent bulb.)
Easiest install to date
I keep replacing fixtures and continue to be impressed with the ease of installation - this Next Glow slim surface mount fixture is now the easiest to date. Push-in connectors are there for live, neutral and ground (a lot of competing products give you easy live/neutral connectors, and just a flying lead ground wire). Literally just 2 screws to hold the metal ring to your box, and the light just snaps into place. At just over 1/2" in depth, this fixture is really unobtrusive. Puts out about as much as a 75-watt incandescent bulb, but given that it is at a color temperature of 4000K it does appear somewhat brighter.
Perfect Slim LED Ceiling Light
This slim ceiling light fits any j-box in your ceiling and is a perfect replacement for bulb lights in closets, halls, laundry rooms, bathrooms, etc. The neutral white is easy on the eyes while giving great lumination at 1100 lumens (close to a 75 watt bulb). It fits flat to any ceiling and is very simple to install. With a 3 year warranty and 50,000 hour use on the LED lights, it will be the last one you'll probably need to buy.
Slim is an understatement
Wonderful slim light. So thin, even the box was tiny. Installation was very easy, and even has a quick connect system, so you don't need to actually connect the wires just stick them in the appropriate spot.

We used one at the bottom of a stairway that has a bulkhead above it. It gives a lot of light and more head clearance. Also one in a hallway that had two lights that were offset from each other. This way one almost looks like a recessed light and they don't look so off.
