This shag fibers are very thin and rough feeling

This rug looked great online, but when it arrived, it barely weighed anything. When I opened it up, the fibers were very disappointing. The only way I can describe it is mangy! I sent it back right away. The return process was unbelievably easy, so I am very grateful for that

Good Value Shag Rug

We used this rug on stage for an event. It was great quality, flattened out nicely (e.g. no edge curling), and worked perfectly for us. It arrived quickly and was exactly like it looks like in the picture. If you're looking for an incredibly full, lush shag rug this one probably isn't it, but it did look nice and would probably work for a low traffic area.

Luxurious!

This rug is over-the-top fluffy. It is really a luxurious rug - an amazing mass of lovely wool. I am SOLD on Revival, as every single item I've purchased has been top quality. A few things of note - I bought the cream, and it seems more white to me. Works OK, but just whiter than I anticipated. 2nd thing - it sheds. I am still picking up cotton balls around the house after about a month, and have filled up one vacuum bag so far. It has lessened over short period I've had it, so I anticipate this will not be an on-going issue.

Grey Shaggy 5/7 RUG. LOVE IT

My Son LoVES his new dark grey rug with shaggy trim and size 5/7. Fits his room nicely and is soft to walk on and fluffy. It’s a 5/7 shaggy grey rug ad it will last awhile given the texture and bottom padding. Came wrapped and protected from delivery, which was fast as well! Will be ordering my RUG here as well!!;)

Great for dorm room

We have bought this rug for both our daughters for their dorm room. The rug provides comfort on a hard dorm floor. The rug looked so good at the end of the year that now it’s in her apartment still looking great! It arrived quickly and wrapped protectively in plastic which makes it a breeze to move!

Soft shag rug looks beautiful in my room.

I needed a rug to brighten up my living room. This soft shag rug has a pretty good pile, is soft to walk on and looks beautiful. I used a rug pad to also increase softness. I followed instructions and after rolling out the rug, I rolled it back up backwards for a couple of hours and then rolled it out and vacuumed it. All the lines came out and the rug looks great. For the price, the quality is excellent.

Exactly As Pictured!!

I have been eyeing this rug for…well, since forever, really…but it was a little above my budget until this recent sale (3/2024). The green color is exactly as pictured (when does *that* ever happen!?) and the shag texture is thick, lush & luxurious. It came folded neatly, but not so tightly that it took forever to flatten itself naturally (it did not come tightly rolled like most online rugs do, which I LOVED). I am beyond thrilled with this rug and while I personally needed to wait for a sale price, it absolutely is worth the original $398 price point.

Perfect Little Entry Rug

This was exactly what I was looking for. Needed a solid black rug for our entry with a modern touch and this fit the bill. All the others I was seeing looked too industrial and cheap. Not the vibe I wanted. Very pleased with this purchase. Not worried about it being a shag rug because it’s black and will hide a lot of dirt and this doesn’t get a lot of traffic.

A very good bargain exactly as advertised

This ride was exactly as advertised. The color in the picture was not exactly perfect but it said it was a taupe and it definitely was taupe. It had a bit of a smell to it that I think is from fumigating so I washed it with my shampooer and the water turned a light brown and I don't know if that was die coming out or if there was some dirt from the factory. I can't give a review on how it's going to hold up but it appears to be well made it laid down nice and flat on the floor it's really pretty and I'm very happy with it and so if it holds up I'm going to be thrilled. I think it's a good buy I think the price was great the description was accurate the quality seems to be very good

Pleased with the shag.

I wanted a rug that brought some warmth to the space, but be a bit unremarkable as there is already quite a bit happening design-wise. This rug is perfect for that, it's not over the top and it is soft on the feet. It took a few days for it to settle and for the creases to work themselves out and there's still a corner that isn't laying flat, but it's getting better. This rug definitely needs a pad under it, if it's not going to be secured by furniture.

Love the color

The rug came when promised. It was rolled up, folded in half and wrapped in a plastic bag. It is the expected color as shown on the website and the proper size. The rug is VERY SPARCE; so much so that it feels like you’re walking on the tile floor underneath. It looks ok but there is no cushioning whatsoever and very sparce shags.

Feels great but one side not straight

Ordered a performance pad with and it feels great in our feet. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is one side isn’t straight. Took me and my pregnant wife moving the entire room out to put it all down properly. Not interested in moving it all over again so just gonna keep it how it is. Won’t be surprised if after writing this that they will offer to replace it but, again, we’d rather not move the entire room all over again.

The perfect shag rug

This rug is awesome for the price. It’s actually much better quality than I expected at the price I paid. On sale, the purchase price was $44, originally $69. It is worth the regular price. It is thick and has a nice amount of shag. It vacuums up very nicely making it very plush. I bought it for my daughters dorm room, 5x8, and it’s huge! I can’t wait to drop it off to her. I plan to purchase another one just like it for my living room. It does not look like a $69 rug. The best quality for the money that I’ve seen, and trust me, I’ve looked all over at many different places and website. It can’t be beat!

Feels so good!

Love this rug and love the price! I wish they had more color options in shag. All the rugs on here are thin so the padding is a must but it feels so good under my feet. I just got my floors done and I needed a rug and this was perfect. I wish the padding would fit better underneath it since its so hard to maneuver to fit over the rug pad since it's so big. Its hard to hide all of the padding but it feels so good under my feet! I have vacuumed it and its fine, I really hope it holds up for the long run!

It’s a perfect fit!

We’ve had it for a month now and it’s perfect. No weird smell, came folded and easy for me to bring in the house since we ordered the 9x13. I was apprehensive to order a rug with such a big pile because we have an Australian shepherd; I usually vacuum every other day or every three days. BUT, I love, love this rug. We have a pad under it and I lay on the floor all the time. Highly recommend it and it’s a great price. Thanks, Rugs.com!

Looks and feels better with age

When we first unrolled our rug, we were a bit surprised by the texture of the rug. It wasn't as soft and plush as I expected. The fabric felt very synthetic. Almost plasticky. However, after letting it "live" a little, and after 5 or 6 vacuum sessions, the rug feels like a rug again. I wouldn't say it's my favorite rug I've owned, but it's definitely a better value than most rugs you find at Target for almost twice the price.

Bring back the Retro Look

I am renting a house and since I have dogs, I purchased 2 of these rugs for a living room which is 20x13. The 10x13 rugs fit perfectly. I placed them over the existing rug so that my dogs would not destroy the landlords rug w muddy feet. If I was placing these on a smooth surface, I would have purchased the anti-slip mats - but since placed over carpet - they didnt need that extra stability. The Retro look of the shag is a fun way to bring some funk back into the room. Actually having received the rugs - I wish I had picked a funkier color - the gray complements the curtains but my furniture is so dark a bright color might have been fun too.

Amazing quality

I have been searching for two months for the perfect shag area rug for my living room with hardwood floors. I wanted a rug with a high pile and no shedding was a must. After reading the reviews for this rug I decided that it checked all the boxes. I ordered the Cloud Gray in 6 X 9. I could not be happier with this purchase. The pile is at least 1 and 1/2 inches, it is thick and much plusher than it appears in the pictures, the color is exactly as seen in the pictures AND it was delivered eight days earlier than expected. I ordered it on a Tuesday and it was delivered two days later, on Thursday. When I rolled it out, it lay flat from the moment it hit the floor. No creases, no curled edges, no bunching and no chemical smell of any kind. I vacuumed it right away just to fluff it up because it had been compressed from shipping. I also wanted to see if there would be a lot of lent in my vacuum from shedding. There was absolutely none!! I was amazed and a happy woman, as my previous rug never stopped shedding. It was a constant irritant me. I have a small Shih Tzu dog and just to error on the side of caution, I sprayed the rug with a mixture of water, white distilled vinegar and lemon essence oil to deter her should she have a desire to potty on it.

Surprisingly plush for the cost!

This rug is great for the cost! I was skeptical how plush it would be in reality but was pleasantly surprised. It is not silky smooth but it is plush. The fibers are course but are softening up with use. I think it will be great in a month or two more of use.

LOVE it!

Decorating an apartment on a budget. We live in a converted loft-like storefront. The floors are real stone tiles, not sure what kind. Like stone tiles as far as the eye can see. I wanted a rug for the living room area and I have had this vision in mind of dark, red walls and deep brown 70s style shag carpeting (I've got a thing for the tacky, the kitsch). My dreams have come true! The rug is a beautiful deep YES chocolate color. It is high quality and feels lovely to the foot. I was worried because I bought mine discounted with a "stain on the edge" - which I have yet to find. The cats love it, my partner loves it. It will be wonderful in the colder winter months, too, which, here in Chicago, as we all know, can be brutal.
