Had to be a contortionist to install but got it done just need to tweak it a bit.

Make sure to google the full install instructions. The ones in the box are “quick install” but you might need a little more info. Other than that, it fit my 20 year old toilet, it works great.

works well. easy install. But read the instructions on how to twist and elongate the center shaft, you will need to adjust the height to match your tank's water line. after removing old one: hold old and new one side-by-side outside the tank and adjust length for accuracy.

It's not a OEM of American Standard Part.

I purchased the "American Standard" , but it a Fluidmaster 400 series was delivered. I can buy a universal part from any market for $15. It fraud. It is a fraud.

The part was defective and we had to purchase a different one; however the local store gave me a refund.

The full valve worked perfectly in my tank, and resolved the running water issue.

This item is way overpriced. I replaced with the FLOWMASTER PRO. Half the price and much better quality. Dont buy. Cheap and a rip off.

Just a fluidmaster - waste of money

Was shocked that my box came opened and even more shocked to find out the valve inside said fluidmaster all over it. I thought I was paying for a genuine OEM part that was different than the more generic and CHEAPER fluidmaster product.

Although described as an American Standard product, it's really just the Fluidmaster 400. So buy the Fluidmaster instead and save some money. Also, the box that was delivered was previously opened, and missing an all-important washer.

Replacement part as advertised. Nearly identical to the part I replaced. Good instructions came with it. Worthy note - this particular commode is one I would not purchase again. I'd happily pay a little more to have it made right in the first place. Carry on.
