Great design

This is the easiest cot to setup that I have owned. The swing arm is a great design.

couple issues but good cot

The ends of the fold up legs are extremely sharp & jagged because of the unsanded machine tool cuts. Once folded into place they're fine but beware when handling. Lack of care in craftsmanship. Also, I agree with another comment regarding the carry bag. It's very flimsy without a zippered closure. Last, this is a heavy & large cot when stowed in the bag. Well built & rugged but not something you want to carry around or expect to pack neatly away in a small car.

A better way to sleep while camping!

I went from a rooftop tent to a ground tent and decided to give a cot a try. Went with the XL along with the mat. Love the combo! Mor3 comfortable than a rooftop tenr mattress. Plenty of room for a tall guy. Easy setup. Couldn't be happier!

The Perfect Camping Cot For Me

I did a lot of research on camping cots before I decided to purchase the Teton Sports Outfitter XXL. My criteria included build quality, easy assembly, height, high weight capacity, large sleeping area, and positive reviews. The Teton Outfitter XXL appeared to have all of the features that I was looking for. I have owned several other brands of camping cots over the years and none of those ever met my expectations for comfort or quality. Cheap camping cots aren't good and good camping cots aren't cheap.

Great outdoor cot

This is a great product. I'm 6'5 and 325 lbs. Sleeping is very comfortable. It is really easy to put together and you could even use it outside on a deck for sleeping as long as it's warm enough.

Outfitter XXL camp cot

I'm a big guy. This is a big cot. It is sturdy and comfortable. When I first unpacked the cot there was an issue with the support connector. I contacted Teton and their response was amazing . I received the repair part quick and I was satisfied beyond my expectations.Their customer service was 5 star. As with all of their products they have a lifetime warranty. You can't lose. Make sure your tent is big enough. Thank you Teton staff.

Sturdy and Useful

The Outfitter XXL is easy to assemble and will pair with my Teton Vista 1 tent. This will kick up my comfort when I go camping.

Great for Big & Tall!!!

This cot is great for those who are big and/or tall. There's plenty of room for stomach sleepers to kick your leg to the side - no sleeping like a mummy on this bad boy!

XXL cot

The cot is super solid and easily put together. I’m a big ol fat guy and this think don’t even creek under my weight! 10/10 I’d definitely recommend for any larger sized person.

Easy Setup and Comfortable

The good is it is easy to setup and comfortable to sleep on. Plenty of room to toss and turn like I do when sleeping. I would recommend the pad that fits it the pad just makes it that much more comfortable.

Awsome to say the least

This cot is so comfortable, it is like sleeping at home. This cot, coupled with the Teton Universal XL pad, takes tent camping to another level. It is like sleeping at home. I found this size to be sufficient. I weigh 200 lbs and am 5' 11" and find it to be of sufficient size. The larger XXL might be a tad better fit for me but would not fit my tent as well as the XL. I have a North Face Wawona 8, and though very large, I prefer setting the cots on the ends of the tent which block the two end doors but provides for a lot of open floor space for chairs and a small table, Bluetti power bank, and other electronic devices. The red lever which assists in placing the end supports in the appropriate place, is a game changer. At 76 years of age, I don't think I would be able to assemble a cot without this feature. With the assist feature, assembling the cot is easy and simple. This cot is one of my best tent camping purchases.

Big enough and tent friendly

This cots fits my 6'3" 300-lb frame well, is super comfortable, but is still small enough to not take up a crazy amount of space for tents at Scout camp and deer camp.

bought three for an upcoming camping trip

I set one of them up to practice, easy setup, no issues with weight, feels super sturdy and comfortable with the additional cot pad we purchased. looking forward to our trip. I will report more after we have used them in the field. would recommend this product!

High Expectations Met

My order arrived promptly and correctly. I went with the cot, canvas camp pad, and side bag and was favorably impressed with the quality of the materials as well as the construction. While it is not light, it wasn't designed for hiking, it has a substantial feel that I like. The cot almost assembles itself when you remove it from its carry bag and I found what little assembly was required to be intuitive. Once you slide the end bars into place and flip the little red lever, you should find you have a rock-solid cot frame. With the camp pad added I found the cot & pad combination surprisingly comfortable by themselves. Heck, I even called the wife in and had her try it out and she was impressed. I'm 5'8" tall & 185 lbs and I had plenty of head, leg, and side room on this cot. I'm impressed with the solid design, it's easy to lay down on and get up from and doesn't squeak, or rock around. Shopping for something like a really good camping cot wasn't as easy as I had expected it to be. Teton's products were something I kept coming back to as I narrowed down the candidates and I ended up ordering from Teton with the expectation that I was going to receive a well-thought-out, quality product and I was not disappointed.

Good for Tall, but...

I'm 6'5" tall 200lbs seems to be long enough for me, but I notice after getting up from the cot, the fabric seems to have stretched a little to cause ripples. While setting up the cot had major problems with end bar lining up while using pivot arm. Noticed ***** was a little loose on bar that had pivot arm attached too. So I pulled pivot arm attachment as close as possible towards end of main frame, then tightened *****. Seemed to help move end bar closer, but still having trouble getting attached. I had to pull on end bar to pull fabric to make it align properly. Oh my! Tried to stretch fabric to move closer to provide little space so I can attach end bar with pivot arm, but almost hurt my hand in the process.

Easy setup

I haven't actually used the cot yet but, I did set it up just to see how it works. Setup was simple and and only took a few minutes! Seems very stable and comfortable (especially with the xxl pad I ordered with the cot). The end caps do come off fairly easily when setting up but, that was an easy fix with a little duct tape! Looking forward to giving it a real test.
