This is a review of the The National Hardware Rustic Modern Gate Latch. First let me say this is a really heavy duty gate latch. It’s got some bulk to it and feels high end and not cheaply made. Comes with all the mounting hardware needed and can be done in 5 minutes as it’s a pretty straight forward installation. Aesthetically I really like the rustic look and feel it makes my stained gate look more appealing. The latch is WEATHERGUARD protected so it should hold up well to the elements. Overall, I am really happy with the gate latch and would recommend. I’m pretty sure it will out live my gate but I’ll just keep moving it to my new gates as it should last for quite some time.

I really like the look of this latch. It doesn’t stand out and blends into the old gate really well. I didnt want something that catches the eye and this fit the bill perfectly. It latches really solid and it wasn’t hard at all to install. Just needed a sharpie and a screwdriver.
