I was scared to order a rug sight unseen (and unfelt). I've been looking all over for a shag-ish soft rug, Moroccan style, that was not too shaggy so that it was still easy to vacuum in either white/off white or light grey. The best deal I had found in stores was at Home Depot for a 5x7 rug - It was very soft and cost about $250 plus a delivery fee. . . . . I loved this instantly online and couldn't believe the price. Based on the reviews I went for it. I was impressed that the rug was at my apt in just 3 days. I LOVE IT! It is soft and shag-like but not so thick and shaggy that it would be hard to vacuum. It's also not super thick which I like, the price is more than $100 less than Home Depot was charging for a bigger rug. . . . . I wouldn't describe it as oatmeal, I'd say it's white but not a super bright white. It looks amazing in my NYC apt which has both off-white and bright white furniture as well as a black coffee table. The pattern is beautiful. My only nitpicks are I wish it had been 2 inches wider, though that's minor, and the tassels on the edges are not perfectly even, but I simply cut the fringe with scissors to get them all the same length. You may need to smooth the fringe with your hands to get them to look more polished. . . . . One thing about a white or off white rug - they tend to get dingy looking but this was so cheap, I wouldn't feel weird going at it with mild dish soap or a Magic Eraser. And if it gets ruined it's not like you're out $400 or more bucks. Just get a new one. Highly recommend!!! Less
