Just finished assembling today. A major shortcoming of this product is that the pieces which are supposed to be duplicates are not all the same size and therefore there are gaps which make assembly more difficult and affect the overall appearance of the finished assembly. Also the dowels on some of the pieces which are meant to aide placing of the support pieces were broken when I opened the shipping box.

Wrong color

The arbor itself is pretty nicely built. My problem is the color. The color in the picture is much lighter. Now it looks funny up against my fence. I wish the description was more detailed.

Trellis & Roses

Nice trellis for the money and took about 1 hr to assemble. The color is quite close to the one advertised. I'll be using it for climbing roses so we will see how well it holds up over the next few years.

The arbor is well built and easy to assemble. One wooden dowel was broken during shipping. I decided to drill out and replace the dowel rather than wait for a new part.

Item was a little more difficult to put together than anticipated, but when it was done it looks great.

I was so disappointed by the quality of this arbor. It's so much darker than the photo (closer to espresso color than cedar). It was incredibly frustrating to assemble and many of the pieces didn't fit quite right. It took lots of force to get things to line up. And it was missing a piece. Customer service says they'll replace the missing piece, but the entire arbor is just really shoddy and not as advertised in terms of color.

This arbor is so beautiful! We did it without a drill but a drill would've been much faster as there weren't always predetermined holes. It has gone through a few rain storms after sealing it, and it still looks fresh!

Highly reccomend

Very nice product. I highly recommend. It fits perfectly in the space where I wanted it. I suggest two people to assemble, especially with the cross slats on the side. Level the area where it will sand before attaching the stakes that anchor it. I suggest at least two coats of polyurethane (gloss) when assembled and in place.

The 79" measurement is to the top of the Arbor. The walk through opening is only 75".

Looks great, but has a few design issues.

Instructions were less than clear. Anchors were woefully inadequate. It looks nice, but is not very sturdy. I would not buy this particular arbor again.

Great find

Looks really great in my yard. Easy to put together. Seems sturdy. Will see if the small stakes can hold it in place, especially when the vines start growing on it. I will probably add a couple rebar supports with metal zip ties.

Walk way opening only about 47"

Love if. Well built. Study. Reasonable. No complaints, but do be aware it's 60" wide at the widest point, but the walk way is about 47". I had a 4' (48") wide gate and didn't even think a 60" wide arbor could possibly not be wide enough. Oops.
